**Key Responsibilities**

+ Interpret complex blueprints, specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements
+ Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming materials; initiate nonconformance reports (NCRs)
+ Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to quality issues
+ Apply acceptance stamps to conforming products and ensure traceability
+ Perform in-process audits to verify compliance with AS9100 standards and internal procedures
+ Calibrate, verify, and maintain inspection and measuring equipment
+ Accurately complete and maintain inspection records and reports, both digital and paper
+ Verify measurement data recorded on Statistical Process Control (SPC) sheets
+ Collaborate with customer source inspectors during source inspection activities

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Automotive Quality Control Inspector to join their expanding operations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality in the automotive sector, fully remotely. You will be responsible for remotely inspecting and verifying the quality of automotive components, systems, and finished vehicles, ensuring they meet stringent specifications and regulatory requirements. This role involves detailed documentation of findings, communication with relevant stakeholders, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. You will utilize various remote inspection tools, diagnostic software, and reporting platforms to perform your duties effectively. The ideal candidate possesses a sharp eye for detail, a comprehensive understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, and a proven ability to conduct thorough inspections. Key responsibilities will include:

• Performing remote visual inspections of automotive parts, sub-assemblies, and finished vehicles.
• Verifying adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilizing digital tools and software for remote data capture and analysis.
• Documenting inspection results, discrepancies, and non-conformities accurately.
• Communicating findings and concerns to engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
• Participating in root cause analysis of quality issues.
• Recommending and tracking corrective actions to resolve quality defects.
• Reviewing production records and test results to ensure compliance.
• Staying updated on automotive industry quality standards and best practices.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive quality control, inspection, or manufacturing is required. Deep knowledge of automotive components, systems, and assembly processes is essential. Proficiency with quality inspection tools, measurement systems, and diagnostic software is necessary. Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment is highly preferred. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are critical, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities for clear and concise reporting. This role is fully remote, requiring a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
