The Maintenance Scheduler will work directly with the Maintenance Team, Production Scheduling Team and the Sanitation Team to develop short-, medium- and long-term work schedules. The Maintenance Scheduler schedules 100% of all available labor hours, Schedules all outside contractor work and assembles job packets with the maintenance schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates with production scheduler in scheduling meeting to schedule all work. Determines schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, criticality of equipment, Due date, production priority and skill of personnel. Creates weekly maintenance schedule for the associated plant and distributes maintenance schedules to departments. Manages work order ready to schedule backlog into short, medium and long term scheduling buckets. Utilizes and adheres to work scheduling work stream in the Work Management Process. Utilizes metrics/data to evaluate and improve work processes Confers with Inner plant supervisors to schedule work within or between departments Generate reports and track metrics from CMMS for Scheduling compliance Schedules as required Maintenance projects that are not capital funded Updates Work Scheduling practices from Job Close out feedback Maintains high quality work order documentation and records in CMMS. Performs additional duties as assigned. Supports operations as needed. Position Summary
Job Summary:
To perform a variety of hand assembly and/or machine operations along with bending operations associated with the manufacturing of tubing bundles using diagrams and job order sheets for shipping product. Must complete any SPC and/or attribute charts as required. Set-up and operate cutting machine as per instruction from parts list, visually inspect hose for defects, and check inside diameter with correct gauging pins. Set-up and operate marking machine, perform work of an equal or lower classification and implement Lean Manufacturing as required for operational needs. Must be able to read and follow simple diagrams and specific written instruction.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Secure proper types and quantities of tubing and fittings according to instructions on cut sheets and templates.
- Set up and operate the cutter/marker, depth marking, ovens and cooling chamber to produce quality product.
- Assemble proper fittings to tubing, exercising proper care to avoid excessive pressure on assembly devices. Tighten fittings as specified, avoiding crossing of threads.
- Load reel into payout and string tubing through cutter according to cut sheet.
- Set depth marking machines, checking the tolerance of distance between end of tube and depth mark using the vertical height cage.
- Set up assemble tables by using mylar and retrieving head fixture assembling harness according to mylar template. Form tubing fixture using cut sheet for part number and training paper for correct part.
- Perform work of an equal or lower classification, as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write, understand English language
- Add, subtract, and basic math operations.
- Follow simple diagram and specific written instructions.
- Our manufacturing roles do have some minimum physical requirements; standing for 8+ hours, ability to wear PPE (safety shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, safety vests, and gloves), repetitive motions including use of hands to bend tubing & connect hose assemblies, sorting items by size shape and color, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and lifting, up to 45 pounds.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Lead (Supervisor), this person will be responsible for packaging product, monitor product for defects, assist in the startup and changeover process for products, and to keep work areas safe, clean, and well organized. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
What you’ll bring:
- Confirm the product running on each Extrusion line with the Production schedule.
- Assist with Quality Control duties including, but not limited to: Monitor saw cuts, Pipe length, Bell fit, Print line confirmation, Chamfer/Bevel, and Reference line spacing.
- Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities.
- Weigh and transport finished product via forklift (Atkore certification will be provided)
- Cut crate boards to proper lengths and adjust if needed.
- Assist with the start-up and changeover of the PVC extrusion lines.
- Understand how to get pipe into specification.
- Able to identify pipe products that are out of specification.
- Perform maintenance and cleanup for production and storage areas.
- Proficient with all material handling and packaging devices
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

- Coordinate engineering subcontractors and technical cooperation with consortium partners.
- Develop, update, and manage the engineering schedule and resource allocation.
- Track work progress, document changes, and ensure technical work meets project requirements.
- Review and approve technical documents and ensure proper distribution to all stakeholders.
- Address technical change orders and non-conformity reports during manufacturing, erection, and commissioning.
- Initiate design reviews, especially when deviations from initial plans occur.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical project management, preferably with steel mill equipment projects.
- Proven success managing large, complex projects.
- Technical expertise in furances or steel mill equipment and processes.
- Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required.
