Key Note: The client is looking for a candidate that has relevant experience making synthetic oligonucleotides using a DNA Synthesizer and has experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work in an oligonucleotide manufacturing lab to make DNA via solid phase synthesis for R&D use.
- Manufactures oligonucleotides on DNA Synthesizers utilizing established and published procedures, and technical and theoretical understanding. Work may include using gel purification of oligonucleotides. Assumes responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of oligo synthesis results. Maintains lab supplies and DNA Synthesizers.
- Summarizes experimental results, and reviews conclusions with supervisor/project leader.
- Works with oligo purification group to ensure smooth handoff of oligos from DNA Synthesis to Oligo Purification.
- Keeps supervisor/project leader informed of project status, particularly of significant findings and results in critical problem areas.
- Performs work according to established internal safety guidelines and procedures, and as specified by appropriate external regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA).
- Processes incoming orders and interface with vendors for oligo orders. Processes and delivers outsourced oligo orders. Works with supervisor to prioritize and triage the orders for in-house manufacturing or for approved external oligo vendor.
- Assumes accountability for own lab notebook documentation and documentation of oligo orders made, ensuring synthesis records and results are recorded timely, accurately and consistently, and according to established formats
- Participates in routine lab maintenance, lab safety, ISO, and QSR implementation. Troubleshoots issues related to instrumentation.
- Sets up, maintains, and runs oligo synthesis instruments to make oligos according to standard protocols and current priorities. Synthesize oligos in an efficient, timely, and cost effective manner.
- Manufacturing Support: Helps maintain the lab/reagent supplies in the lab to ensure that there is no manufacturing downtime. Helps keep the lab and work areas clean and safe. Perform routine analyses (HPLC, LCMS, and/or UV spectral) on oligos on as needed basis. Assists others in the manufacturing lab as needed.
- Documentation: Responsible for ensuring capture of lab data from instrumentation in SDMS/electronic notebook in a timely manner. Compiles and prepares data for statistical, scientific analyses, reports, or for presentations.

What’s the role?
The XRM Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering manages all aspects related to the product quality and business process excellence development.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consulting with the Management team and the employees to ensure all processes, which are an essential part of the management system are developed, implemented, realized and sustained.
- Periodically review applicable laws, regulations, and standards to ensure continued compliance.

- Coordinate supplier management process with the purchasing department to ensure qualified suppliers are selected, approved, and monitored.

- Provides input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operations.

Our technicians work a Compressed Work Week (CWW). This means that each pay period you work three 12-hour shifts one week, and four 12-hour shifts the following week*. - Works with engineering in conducting tests and experiments to improve production processes or develop new products and processes.

The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $19.30 and $25.36. The pay range may differ in other locations. Responsible for Human Factors & Ergonomics technical discipline in the region. Delivers specialty services as assigned. Provides technical training to Risk Control generalists. You are:
A leader in the manufacturing space with deep knowledge of the Siemens portfolio, experienced with consulting, and able to help large organizations solve their most complex manufacturing issues by properly adopting technology.
The Work:
+ Suggest/evaluate system architecture options
+ Estimate and plan project work

Here's what you Need:

As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop and enhance manufacturing processes through the study of products and manufacturing methods. The engineer provides top-tier engineering and manufacturing support to ensure timely and cost-effective hardware delivery with superior performance and reliability that surpasses customer expectations. They collaborate with the Integrated Product Team to design, control, and enhance the manufacturing process and system design.
