Primary responsibilities:
- Managing high dollar value Process Improvement projects from Engineering Justification to Equipment Specification Vendor Selection Planning/Scheduling Purchasing Updates Acquisition Implementation Validation/IQOQPQ and any other related tasks needed to successfully execute the project.
Other responsibilities to support the primary responsibility may include but are not limited to:
- Performing various types of engineering analysis using various tools to adjust complex manufacturing processes to yield quality results.
- Participating in the design and arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure more efficient and productive layout.
- Proposing the sequence of operations and installations and supports in specifying procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and optimize performance.
- Designing and developing manufacturing processes for products taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to manufacturing.
- Checking/validating that mandatory modifications programs and bulletins are incorporated or complied with as required by the customer and the applicable regulatory requirements to ensure legal compliance and adherence to quality standards.

**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Pleasanton, CA location in the Heart Failure Division. In Abbott's Heart Failure (HF) business, we're developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
This position will design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures in order to meet daily production schedules while enhancing productivity and product quality.
**What You'll Work On**

- Utilize tools like Gage R&R, Cp, Cpk, and SPC to improve processes

- Work with cross functional teams as required
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management

- Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements,
Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and

**Required Qualifications**
- Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Biomedical, etc. Engineering degree required.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience required.

- Previous medical device experience preferred.
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.

Job Duties:
- Manage the Quality Control (QC) process including scheduling, daily inspections, and results reporting.
- Operate project management software to interface with submittal of daily QC reports, weekly CPR's and other documentation required for Ameresco's monthly progress payment applications.
- Ensure USACE and Ameresco mandated documentation is properly completed and submitted to appropriate reporting authority.
- Coordinate with Government project management personnel and subcontractors to ensure proper QC procedures and documentation are performed and maintained.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience as direct QC/QA manager for USACE or NAVFAC projects.
- Current USACE/NAVFAC QC/QA certification.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
- Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
- Experiencing with construction scheduling and using scheduling software.
- Experience using RMS for USACE projects.

Key Responsibilities

**Position Description:**
The Lead Quality Control Engineer (LQCE) will be experienced in managing the QC process on Hensel Phelps projects and in exercising judgment and discretion in making quality control-related recommendations, implementing quality control policies and procedures, and handling a wide variety of quality control matters in the field and office. They may be tasked with assisting and mentoring less-experienced QC engineers when multiple QC resources are deployed on a single large project. Alternatively, they may be tasked with performing QC activities on multiple smaller projects. This is a safety sensitive position
**Position Qualifications:**
+ A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture or construction management.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years' experience on large commercial construction projects.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Technically experienced and capable of comprehending the specifications, standards, and code requirements for all disciplines (i.e., architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical).
+ Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel-based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoCAD.
**Essential Duties:**
+ Review and update the project quality process log (QPL) and provide comments to the QC manager.
+ Under the oversight of the PS, direct the removal and replacement of non-conforming work and stop work not in compliance with the contract.
+ Be fully aware of the contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes. Submit and review RFIs to ensure changes are implemented in the field.
+ Receive trade partner test and inspection requests and produce a coordinated daily test and inspection schedule.
+ Actively participate in the work completion tagging process, in-house punch list process and the pre-final punch list process to document deficient items in the field.
+ Audit trade partner quality control procedures and participate in the quality recognition program.
+ Actively participate in the continuous improvement process (CIP) and lessons learned and be a leading advocate for these programs.
+ Perform safety and housekeeping inspections through the SAFE program.
**Physical Work Classification & Demands:**

Detailed Description:
The Client Service Manager (CSM) is highly recognized and regarded in Brown and Caldwell and would be responsible for managing and growing compliance, permitting, site investigation and remediation work for multiple manufacturing client accounts.Characteristics of the CSM include the proven ability to generate and sustain significant revenue from environmental, water resource, and engineering projects, in the manufacturing sector. As CSM, you will be part of a team of project managers and technical staff performing the work for existing and new manufacturing clients.
Our successful candidate will maintain and expand their exceptional relationships with clients, including locally and nationally. You will have the ability to navigate and align the client organization with BC's Team of experts and resources, provide oversight on technical assignments, ensure profitable performance and superior quality, and exceed client expectations.
