ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and with H&S, Environment, and Quality Management Systems

- Look for and lead improvement activities with the lines.
- Assist the Shift Leader to do activities to solve sporadic process quality problems by implementing and monitoring corrective actions.
- Ensure that all necessary verification checks throughout the operation are being performed and ensure upkeep of relevant documentation according to requirements as defined by TS16949, and local / sector control plan requirements.
- Assist in any investigations into the causes of non-conformance in terms of machine materials and process failures and into any other activities that will assist in the reduction and elimination of waste.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment

- All other duties assigned by the Shift Leader or Director of Manufacturing
- Responsible to know the impact their role has on the environment
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or Equivalent, required

- Must be able to use metric system effectively
- Must have a working knowledge of hand tools
- Trained and qualified to operate forklift

About this Position:
The Manufacturing Quality Engineer is responsible for identifying quality issues, establishing containment, developing and implementing countermeasures with speed to ensure optimal vehicle quality for our customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform Problem Solving / Root Cause Analysis
- Complete problem-solving analysis, investigations, report writing, and containment/repair activity with speed while utilizing quality engineering principles.
- Develop Countermeasures and implement Countermeasure with Safety, Quality, and Delivery viewpoint, based on investigation and analysis which could include a design change, a modification of a supplier part, or an in-house adjustment
- Assure Customer Quality: Perform Data analysis on warranty claims and Initial Quality Study/ Parts Quality Study data and work with production to improve customer quality
- Perform Quality Auditing: Confirm Fixture and Equipment are in standard and ensure adherence to Operation standards.

Interns can be placed in various different areas of the Supply business; from working in our Brewing Department where they will have close ties to the process in which BEER is made, our Packaging Department to work with how the BEER is packaged in cans bottles or kegs, our Technical Operations group to work with teams on how the cans are made, or you may have the opportunity to work on our Corporate Team and help implement an initiative for process improvements across our Supply locations.

+ You will be expected to utilize data analysis and other lean manufacturing methods used for process improvement to enhance product/process efficiency.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Current university student or recent university graduate - Bachelor's Degree with a GPA of 3.0 or greater.
+ A background in Engineering or Science is preferred.
+ Must be mobile and open to relocation to experience different locations across the U.S.
+ Our Breweries and Technical Operations are 24/7 - 365 day a year facilities which requires alternating shift work for participants who enter the program. **Program participants must have flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, holidays, & overtime.**
+ Must have the ability to walk up and down elevated catwalks and stairs, stand for long periods of time, and work in all environmental conditions including extreme temperatures.
+ Ability to leverage data and insights to provide effective solutions to complex problems.
+ Can demonstrate leadership capabilities in previous work experience and/or extracurricular activities.
+ Self-motivated to drive results and deliver above and beyond expectations.
+ Ability to collaborate, be an active listener, seek diverse opinions and input from others, and foster an inclusive environment.
+ Embraces ambiguity and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Able to effectively manage several projects and teams at once, while being agile in the face of setbacks and change.
