IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

As a Robotics Manufacturing Technician, you will work alongside a collaborative, cross-functional team, gaining hands-on experience across manufacturing, robotics, and research & development (R&D). This role offers exposure to advanced technologies including robotic microfactories, machine assembly, 3D printing, CNC and manual machining, and robotic system validation.

Technicians will play a vital role in building and testing Molg's cutting-edge microfactories and may be asked to specialize as the organization scales. This is a high-impact role suited for individuals who enjoy solving technical challenges, working with advanced machinery, and helping shape the future of circular manufacturing. Duties will include:

Manufacturing & Assembly:

  • Assemble robotic microfactory systems by following detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Organize tools, materials, and workstations to support efficient and safe manufacturing processes
  • Perform quality assurance checks on assemblies using defined protocols and documentation standards
  • Support the development and testing of SOPs for new products and releases.
  • Support inventory management to accurately track and store materials and finished goods.
3D Printing & Prototyping
  • Execute 3D printing jobs based on digital design files for prototypes and functional tools
  • Based on skills, experience, and interest, operate manual and CNC machines to support fabrication of components and parts.
Robotics & Systems Testing
  • Conduct pre-deployment testing of robotic systems across various automated demanufacturing workflows.
  • Document test and system performance.
Deployment Support
  • Prepare microfactory systems for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and logistics coordination
  • Travel to customer sites to install, reassemble, test, and validate microfactories
  • Provide support during on-site handover, including technical demonstrations and training
Responsibilities may be tailored to qualified applicants' experience and interests. Likewise, we seek to provide opportunities through this role for Technicians to specialize and learn specific skill sets of interest to them.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Interest in building and implementing support systems for complex robotic systems.
  • Education or 1-2 years experience in manufacturing technology/advanced manufacturing, mechatronics, or automation. Students pursuing relevant degrees interested in part-time, hands-on experience are encouraged to apply for this role as well.
  • Familiarity with standard manufacturing tools and hardware, 3D printing technology, and basic inspection instruments. Experience with or interest learning to operate CNC machines is a plus.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data and problem solve to suggest creative solutions.
  • Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing.
  • Availability for limited travel preferred.

  • Apply engineering knowledge on supplier manufacturing to ensure quality hardware meets customer requirements
  • Assess the impact of manufactured part rejections; communicate with suppliers to work through problems and resolve case

  • Monitor and review quality metrics for publication

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a Technical related field is

  • Working knowledge of and/or education, skills, and experience associated with manufacturing processes, engineering drawing requirements

The QA associate for documentation ensures compliance with cGMP and internal policies, procedures, and specifications. This position is responsible for performing inspections, batch record review, and quality system functions in accordance with cGMP and related company SOP's, state, federal and local laws as applicable. **In this role, you will have the opportunity to:**
+ Manage site ISO certification process. Develop, revise and update Quality Policy, Quality Manual, Quality Documentation Structure and Quality Systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
+ Develop and advocate for critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for various quality functions, providing training on effective metric usage and ensuring their consistent application; actively drive improvements across all quality KPIs.
+ Lead regular Failure Review Boards (FRB), Material Review Boards (MRB), and other relevant quality Daily Management (DM).
+ Develop & deploy configuration, ECR, and material inspection processes.
+ Manage all quality related cases from customers and collaborate with Engineering teams to support root cause investigation, implementation of countermeasures, and timely submission of reports in required formats.
+ Set forth a strategic process improvement plan and lead teams and projects to ensure on-schedule completion and sustainable integration within the company.
+ Engage directly and support Manufacturing, R&D, & Engineering teams with Failure Review Boards (FRB), Problem Solving Process (PSP), and requisite projects, stepping in with assistance when needed.
+ Pioneer initiatives focused on defect reduction, improved performance of corrective actions, and the maintenance of process control and compliance.
+ Act as a facilitator and provide support during Quality Audits as necessary.
+ Embrace and execute additional responsibilities as they arise.
+ **Support continuous improvement activities** focused on reducing defects, scrap, and rework, and enhancing overall product and process reliability.
+ Lead efforts to improve supplier Quality by collaborating with cross-functional teams including Procurement and R&D/Engineering.
