ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our growing team in Quincy, MA. In this role, you will play be responsible for working hands-on with our engineering team on a multi-disciplinary workflow to deliver world class AUVs. This will require building complex electromechanical assemblies and integrating them into the final product!

Please note: This role will be based in our Quincy, MA location until Q4 of 2025. Following this period, the successful candidate will be expected to work out of our new Quonset, RI facility. Based on eligibility, relocation assistance may be available.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Work within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists on AUV assembly and integration efforts
  • Build, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies into our world class AUVs
  • Routing and servicing high-reliability cabling and wiring harnesses
  • Design, prototype, and scale manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve build and test efficiency
  • Fabricate and modify machined parts and COTS components
  • Contribute to all stages of the vehicle product development and manufacturing life cycle and provide feedback to the engineering team
  • Help develop, document, and improve our workflows
  • Help organize and establish our on-site manufacturing workflow
  • Potential of traveling offshore to support our operations team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a mechanical field (automotive/marine, aerospace, industrial equipment)
  • Familiar with simple fabrication processes, basic hand tools, and both plastic/metal part manufacturing

**Are you a Manufacturing Technician looking for an opportunity to build and improve groundbreaking technologies? We have just the opportunity for you! Under the direction of the Supervisor of Special Projects Assembly, you will assist in the designing, laying out and detailing new developments or modifications to company lines of safety relief valves and line valve products!**
**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Inspect, assemble, and perform production and/or engineering steam, air or water tests on various types of valves, including prototypes for special customer applications and engineering proficiency.
+ Set up and perform engineering test on competitive valves and evaluate data. Perform product testing and test to ASME standards.
+ Advise and assist Manufacturing, Sales, Specifications and other departments concerning technical aspects of the product.
+ Recommend purchase of material or equipment for current projects.
+ As warranted, travel to nuclear facilities to perform field service work as needed.
**Who You Are:**
You identify and build the processes vital to get work done. You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You learn quickly when facing new situations.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Minimum of an Associates degree in Engineering, technical military experience, or equivalent work experience.
+ The ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences and situations, ensuring clear and efficient exchange of information.
+ Highly engineered product experience.
+ Ability to work on call, or travel to service client's needs.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Experience with safety relief valves and/or line valve products.

+ 2nd Shift 2 PM - 10 PM (Monday - Friday)

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Inspect, maintain, and coordinate the upkeep of manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
+ Plan, coordinate, and execute installation, setups, and changeovers of machinery.
+ Test and adjust equipment as needed.
+ Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment.
+ Recommend and implement process improvements.
+ Update maintenance and repair logs and prepare trouble reports for equipment issues.
+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
**Education:**
+ Vocational, Certificate, Technical, or Associate degree preferred.
+ 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
**Experience and Skills:**

+ Clean room experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.

**About the Role**
We're hiring **11 General Manufacturing Operators** for our growing team! We are seeking individuals who are **mechanically inclined** and eager to learn-we will provide full training. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in precision manufacturing with a stable and supportive company.
You'll begin in our **Inspection Department** , working with microscopes to visually inspect components. Over time, you'll be trained in various production areas such as laser trimming, solder dipping, and electrical testing.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Handle small parts and wafers using tweezers
+ Visually inspect chip resistors and wafers using high-power microscopes
+ Follow detailed manufacturing procedures and documentation
+ Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment
+ Wear lab coats and follow safety protocols, including chemical handling when necessary
**Requirements**
**Must-Have:**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Basic computer skills
+ Ability to read and write in English
+ Comfortable working with small parts and tools
+ Mechanically inclined (training will be provided)
**Nice-to-Have (Not Required):**
+ Prior cleanroom or ISO 9000 manufacturing experience
+ Visual inspection experience
