The manufacturing technician is an integral part of the overall process required to convert human plasma to injectable protein therapies. The technician is responsible for the set-up, operation and cleaning of various types of process equipment utilized to separate, purify, fill, inspect and package the protein products manufactured by Grifols.
Essential Job Duties:
·Responsible for equipment cleaning, setup and operation in a biologics processing environment for plasma derived pharmaceuticals.
·Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to FDA regulations.

Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.

- We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment with a focus on vacuum pumps, electrical systems, and PLC-controlled machinery.
- The technician will ensure equipment reliability, minimise downtime, and contribute to continuous improvement in plant operations.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimise production interruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in CMMS.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on vacuum pumps, electrical systems, and PLC-controlled equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
