Who we are looking for:
We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Shift Lead to be based out of Allendale, SC. Reporting to the Production Manager. This person will be responsible for overseeing the plant production in the most efficient manner to produce quality products and meet sales requirements. This includes improving scheduling, production process, and workflow on an ongoing basis to ensure the most efficient production of materials. The Shift Leader also ensures that all production activities follow OSHA regulations as well as organizational policies and other applicable government laws or regulations.
What you'll do:
* Ensure HDPE pipe is manufactured per the production schedule
* Confirm that all products meet specification and that all required quality tests are performed
* Examine operator paperwork to ensure that it is complete and correct
* Review QC/QA forms to confirm that they have been completed accurately and correctly
* Inspect the integrity and performance of the production systems
* Recruit, train, and develop crew members
* Optimize utilization of employees and equipment
* Understand computerized systems associated with the extrusion, control, and printing technologies used in our facility.
* Obtain production efficiencies by a developing a culture of continuous improvement
* Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety rules and procedures
* All other assigned duties
What you'll bring:
Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent
* 3 -5 years relevant work experience
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
* Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations
* High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
* Shows initiative
* Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
* Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
* Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Within 3 months, you'll:
* Complete any required training
* Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $27.00hr. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.

Marathon Staffing in looking for hard working individuals to join our team! Location in the Rowesville SC area! Must have experience in Quality Control. Quality Control Inspectors examine products and material for defects.They remove all products that fail to meet specifications. Will be responsible for the following: · Performs start-up, in-process and final sampling inspection to assure that completed product meets all requirements including measurement and data recording. · Plans and executes required audit activities (schedules, plans, reports, finding resolutions, etc.) Performs and adequately documents internal Quality Audits of assigned office and projects. · Completes sampling final inspection and sign-off product for release. · Conduct non-conforming (NCMR) activities including back tracking, segregation and documentation. · Collaborates in development and maintenance of policy, processes, procedures and related documents. Reviews documents and implementation procedures to verify organization is compliant with quality management system. · Assures all labeling and paperwork are precise and accurate. · Promotes safety awareness including adhering to safety rules and requirements. Participates, as needed, in safety audits and assessments. · Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Supports the supervisor on duty as needed.
