**Overview**
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Maintenance and Engineering team. This role will focus on driving process improvements, supporting production operations, and contributing to engineering projects that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in our instant ticket printing and finishing processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

**Responsibilities**
The Director- Quality, Security & Compliance is responsible for the physical security of the facility, ticket quality and compliance with industry standards, maintenance of certifications and standards as well as Information Technology maintenance and needs of the facility.
The Director will serve as the client liaison for any security questions or inquiries from customers. The Compliance and Security Manager reports to the Director and is directly responsible for the Security Team, physical security of facility and all Compliance to ISO standards and other certifications Brightstar Lottery pursues and maintains.
The Quality Control Manager reports to the Director and is responsible for ensuring printed product meets industry and client expectations for ticket security. The manager is responsible for implementation and maintenance of quality controls.
Security
- Coordinates physical security operations in accordance with established guidelines.
- Interfaces with lottery security directors/investigators for routine and random inspections of plant.
- Investigates and makes recommendations on all discrepancies on security violations.
- Interfaces with lottery auditors (internal and external) for audit issues.
- Oversees control and destruction of non-conforming products.
Quality and Product Security & Integrity
- Aids the Quality Department on quality and ticket security related issues.
- Recommends improvements to the Quality Department on ticket testing protocols.
- Reports to top Management on trends and performance compared to other instant tickets manufacturers.
ISO Compliance
- Support the Compliance Manager on internal and external audits and compliance to existing procedures.
- Provide directions for continuous improvement, client complaint response.
Other
- Establish objectives and measure results for his/her departments.
- Define training needs for his/her departments and propose training plan.
- Perform other duties as required.

+ Analysis of incoming samples (pre-purchase, raw material, WIP, finished products and others)
+ Preparation and standardization of chemical reagents
+ Serve as primary operator for GC-FID analysis of submitted samples.
+ Responsible for sampling of incoming products in accordance with documented GMPs and written protocols.
+ Conduct compressed gas inventories; alerting QC Supervisor when usages exceed expectations
+ Assist Quality Control Supervisor as needed in the development, documentation and execution of new methodologies to address evolving analytical needs.
+ Carry out regular internal inventories of parts, reagents and supplies for purposes or re-ordering same.
+ Assist Quality Control Supervisor in the composition of requested analytical documentation (e.g., Certificates of Analysis)
+ Responsible for review and validation of GC component data. Assist in data entry of results for all analyzed pre-purchase, raw material, WIP and finished product samples.
+ Carry out visual inspection and product disposition for designated product lots on a request basis.
+ Develop the capability for an informed organoleptic evaluation of any submitted FCC product
+ Perform scheduled calibrations of designated laboratory instrumentation
+ Responsible for the collection, labeling and storage of retain quantities for all submitted samples.
+ All other duties as directed and appropriate for the purposes of Florida Chemical Co.
**Educational Requirements:**
+ Thursday through Wednesday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for day shift, Thursday through Wednesday 7:00pm to 7:00 am for night shift. Schedule may include additional time as needed and approved by management
+ BS degree in a field of physical science. One year related laboratory experience preferred.
**Working Conditions: Physical Requirements:**
+ Analytical laboratory environment with instrumentation and glassware. Plant ambient environment with production operations for material sampling.

**Quality Control Lab Technician - Winter Haven, FL**
**Description of Duties:**
+ Analysis of incoming samples (pre-purchase, raw material, WIP, finished products and others)
+ Preparation and standardization of chemical reagents
+ Serve as primary operator for GC-FID analysis of submitted samples.
+ Responsible for sampling of incoming products in accordance with documented GMPs and written protocols.
+ Conduct compressed gas inventories; alerting QC Supervisor when usages exceed expectations
+ Assist Quality Control Supervisor as needed in the development, documentation and execution of new methodologies to address evolving analytical needs.
+ Carry out regular internal inventories of parts, reagents and supplies for purposes or re-ordering same.
+ Assist Quality Control Supervisor in the composition of requested analytical documentation (e.g., Certificates of Analysis)
+ Responsible for review and validation of GC component data. Assist in data entry of results for all analyzed pre-purchase, raw material, WIP and finished product samples.
+ Carry out visual inspection and product disposition for designated product lots on a request basis.
+ Develop the capability for an informed organoleptic evaluation of any submitted FCC product
+ Perform scheduled calibrations of designated laboratory instrumentation
+ Responsible for the collection, labeling and storage of retain quantities for all submitted samples.
+ All other duties as directed and appropriate for the purposes of Florida Chemical Co.
**Educational Requirements:**
+ Thursday through Wednesday 7:00 am to 7:00 pm for day shift, Thursday through Wednesday 7:00pm to 7:00 am for night shift. Schedule may include additional time as needed and approved by management
+ BS degree in a field of physical science. One year related laboratory experience preferred.
**Working Conditions: Physical Requirements:**
+ Analytical laboratory environment with instrumentation and glassware. Plant ambient environment with production operations for material sampling.
+ Standing, walking, sitting, manual dexterity, light lifting and some time spent in an industrial environment
