**Summary:**
Manufacturing is a pillar within Meta's Preconstruction Team supporting datacenter construction. We exist to support the predictable delivery of capacity at scale through manufactured solutions.The Manufacturing (aka Manufactured Owner Furnished Equipment "MOFE") Team's primary focus is supply chain engagement and optimization in support of construction for datacenter capacity. We accept Manufacturing Informed Designed (MID) components and orchestrate their detailing and prototyping to optimum manufacturability, then manage our supply chain and work with our partners to plan and implement logistics and integration optimized construction.This team is comprised of strategic designers, strategic builders, tactical specialists, plus internal and external subject matter experts (SME) including preconstruction managers, contractors, schedulers, equipment reliability engineers, and sourcing specialists.This position will be onsite and responsible for integration, and related logistics support, of more than 20,000 manufactured components in support of Meta's Holly Ridge project. Never before have we relied so heavily on offsite construction; a necessity to deliver a project of this magnitude on a fast-paced timeline. The candidate will work closely with the contracting team and will be instrumental in ensuring the timely delivery of this capacity on what will be the largest project in Meta's history, and one of a few of the largest datacenters in the world.This mega-project is of such scale that it requires a high-performing program manager to drive strategic and tactical aspects of logistics and integration, including managing the third party logistics team. We will be leaning on this individual to also develop and implement consistent processes on this project that can scale across the program.
**Required Skills:**
Integration Specialist, Manufacturing Responsibilities:
1. Integration Management - lead planning and implementation of component integration with Meta program team, offsite manufacturing supply partners, and contractors
2. Logistics Management - support planning and implementation of shipping, receiving, and site logistics in concert with the Meta program team, offsite manufacturing supply partners, contractors and third party logistics firm
3. Co-manage GC (General Contractor) MOFE Coordinators for logistics, planning, coordination, reporting, lessons learned, etc
4. Lead regular onsite meetings for coordination of integration
5. Support site logistics operations and identify gaps and remediation plans as needed
6. Partner in developing shared solutions, processing improvements, and efficiency efforts, then execute action plans for implementation
7. Develop, refine and maintain metrics and KPIs highlighting performance and trends with our offsite manufacturing supply & integration partners
8. Create, maintain and report on integration related Risk Matrix
9. Track change management and associated cost with cross-functional partners
10. Assist in Schedule Development and refinement with Engineering/Scheduling, GCs, & Suppliers
11. Regular Debriefs / Lessons Learned development, summary and communication to Engineering, Leadership, & cross-functional partners
12. Partner with Global QA/QC Team to ensure multi-trade integration and commissioning efforts for onsite efforts
13. Support team learning by bringing past experience, logistics vendors, new technology, and other topics to the group for exploration of this field
14. Travel as necessary to suppliers and warehouses for logistics and integration planning / coordination purposes
15. Track status of Owner-Furnished equipment for offsite integration and confirm all required documentation is collected
16. Assist with development of offsite storage plan for early equipment acquisition and inventory of finished goods

**Summary:**
This role is responsible for the generation, implementation, and management of a Manufacturing focused Meta Quality Program, by establishing a Quality Program that is focused on people, processes and accountability through influential vendor management and effective partnerships with site-based stakeholders (General Contractor Teams, Vendor Teams, Trade Partners, and Infra-Data Center Teams). Through leadership and partnerships, the Manufacturing Quality Engineers will utilize our program core competencies to drive vendor improvement objectives and issue mitigation strategies to ensure day one readiness, predictable on-time delivery, and operational reliability of our global campuses.
**Required Skills:**
Mega-Site Manufacturing Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Conduct vendor audits, evaluate on site trend data reflective of vendor performance (set in place inspections, construction, start-up, and commissioning execution) and establish strategic vendor improvement objectives to refine vendor processes, training and phase gating that result in reduced risk of shipping issues to sites and impacting start-up and commissioning
2. Develop/monitor quality program metrics to evaluate vendor manufacturing & project performance. Analyze said metrics to understand the root cause of any concerning trends and then work with the relevant parties to correct those items
3. Contribute to building teams by mentoring and developing off-site Vendor teams by providing feedback to meet and exceed manufacturing expectations by defining performance objectives while influencing on-site teammates and partners such as Regional Quality Managers, Building Management System, Quality Managers, General contractor teams, Vendor support teams, Trade Partners, and other Meta Infrastructure Data Center teams
4. Remain informed of operational equipment deficiencies, evaluate systemic potential and program manage systemic vendor RCA and site escalation mitigation strategies
5. In conjunction with the Regional Quality Manager, Building Management System (BMS) Quality Manager, Data Center Engineering & Construction, Infrastructure and Supply Chain Engineering and Facility Operations matrixed teams establish effective processes and standards to enable efficient scope execution and effective cross-functional communications
6. Provide leadership to offsite vendor and on-site Meta Operations Facilities Engineering (MOFE) management & quality teams while interfacing at the highest level between sourcing, design, construction, facility operations leadership and the general contractor
7. Provide direction and feedback to vendor staff, general contractor staff and trade partners on the Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) Management and Quality program
8. Provide onboarding & continuous training of Vendor personnel to ensure awareness of quality procedures and specific responsibilities vital to the Meta Quality program
9. Through the establishment of partnerships, coordinate quality issues & schedule dynamics between the Meta design, ISCE, construction, and facility operations teams to ensure operational readiness
10. Audit Quality activities of vendor and project team staff as often and as necessary to assess conformance with the manufacturing expectations
11. Recommend and verify effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions for Vendor Audit & Execution non-conformances and quality issues, in coordination with sourcing partners, vendor management, design, engineering, construction and other functional disciplines
12. Partner with Vendor teams and Project Teams in review of Level 3, 4, and 5 Energization, Start-up, and Commissioning schedules to help ensure issue counts are trending downward, gating issues mitigated, adequate field service representatives are mobilized, and vendor risks are proactively avoided
13. Help drive the closure of open issues and escalate any open items not getting closed out in a timely manner
14. Assist in confirming that Level 2 and Level 3 testing documentation is properly completed and retained in a timely manner that aligns with microschedule milestones
15. Attend required Construction Meetings such as the weekly project and monthly global Mechanical Electrical Plumbing / Operations and Maintenance Quality meeting, weekly meetings, and daily start-up and commissioning meetings

ABOUT THE ROLE
To collect samples from jobsites/batch plants and performs field and laboratory quality control testing to ensure product specifications are achieved. Help to maintain DOT product approvals. Use knowledge of concrete design to help innovate new products that meet internal and external aspirations. Provide verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner. Assists manager with customer service issues as directed. Assists in mix design development, and other construction materials testing. Assist with specification review and mix design submittal preparation. Assist with mix design maintenance.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Examines laboratory samples to determine their physical and chemical properties.
• Uses a variety of instruments and calculations to determine conformity. Performs various tests to make certain that samples meet required standards. May be assigned to manage a specific job in the field.
• Records, analyzes, certifies and prepares summaries of findings. Maintains records of test results using various databases.
• May design mixes to be used at various plants based on materials used at each site. Optimizes mix designs to reduce costs of materials used by adding recycled materials, additives or other materials.
• Assists with customer service issues as required. Troubleshoots to determine reason for problem or complaint.
• Collects samples from various plants/job sites as required. Work performed in a laboratory setting or at a field location.
