This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate product costing, supporting financial planning, and ensuring compliance with company and audit requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) , product structures, and manufacturing routings.
• Perform cost roll-ups and ensure accurate inventory setup for parts and compounds.
• Monitor and report on business plan performance against actual expenses, equipment/tooling investments, and inventory.
• Maintain and track customer-owned tooling and vendor master records.
• Manage fixed asset records and calculate depreciation using SAGE fixed asset software .
• Participate in monthly financial close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare management reports for monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Assist with quarterly consolidation reporting to Sumitomo Riko.
• Contribute to special projects across Cost Planning, ERP systems, and AR functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.

Key Objectives

• Deploy to Morristown, TN as part of a team to reduce executional scrap
• Complete time studies in various processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Perform shopfloor observations, working with Manufacturing employees to document current and target conditions. Eliminate non-value added activities while working on scrap reduction activities.
• Participate in the Howmet Business System implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and drive waste reductions utilizing Lean principles (JIT, Autonomation, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Line/Cell Design, Single Piece Flow, Material Flow, Visual Management, SMED, TPM, Root Cause Problem Solving, etc.)
• Coordinate with resource departments within the assigned locations to fabricate, install, and implement improvements to drive waste down and increase efficiency and output.
• Collaborate in Kaizen activities, problem solving, and rapid improvement process events with both internal and external consultants, customers, and suppliers. This includes providing support to sustain all follow-throughs required to sustain the improvements initiated during those events, especially those concentrated on local improvement.

As a Quality Technician in the Quality Assurance and Manufacturing departments, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and monitoring manufacturing processes and products to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining product quality, reducing defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying and resolving quality issues promptly and accurately.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform in-process, first article, final, and receiving inspections using standard measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
+ Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of parts, assemblies, and finished products.
+ Carry out functional testing using gauges, test equipment, or specialized tools.
+ Accurately complete and maintain inspection records, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
+ Assist in the preparation and revision of quality documentation such as work instructions, inspection criteria, and control plans.
