We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on electrical systems and PLCs to support the integration and modification of new machinery and automation systems into our production lines. + Understand assembly processes and manufacturing practices.

Job Purpose
The Manufacturing Engineer will lead, create, and implement innovative technical activities and solutions in the areas of Mass Production, Business Plan and New Model to efficiently meet or exceed Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale characteristic targets.
Key Accountabilities
- Effectively communicate upstream and downstream to all levels of the organization to assure common understanding and direction.
- Review and analyze daily report(s) to identify safety, quality, delivery gaps and develop potential countermeasures and /or root cause analysis opportunities striving for continuous improvement.
- Utilize data analysis and PDCA to lead, support, develop and justify solutions with related groups/departments for your area of responsibility to solve complex problems.
- Monitor and manage equipment and processes to ensure optimal manufacturing performance and function while minimizing operating expense.
- Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and sharing of experiences in area of technical expertise and understanding.
- Establish priorities and make decisions based on data analytics to most effectively accomplish business objectives.
- Manage project implementation, schedule, budget and resource allocations to ensure successful completion and target achievement.
- Test, evaluate, and implement new and innovative technologies to improve overall equipment and process efficiency.
- Develop and manage investment and expense budgets to achieve overall cost targets.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with relevant experience (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical, etc) with interest in Manufacturing
- 6 years experience required in lieu of a degree
- Manufacturing co-op/ internship experience preferred
- Computer literate to support industry standard software applications
- Positive attitude, open minded, and a team player
- Strong self-motivation and desire to work in a manufacturing environment
- Self-managed and able to provide and set direction for others to be successful
- Demonstrates leadership capabilities

Job Purpose
Participate and support investigation of moderately complex quality problems/change point for internal and external customers through metallurgical evaluation including testing, failure analysis, material confirmation or other material related items.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage/participate in investigations for quality problems to determine responsibility, root cause and countermeasure through failure
analysis of transmission components and assemblies
• Using engineering analysis and data collection to assure material conformance to spec and causes of product failure
• Participate in plant wide projects with identified Quality concerns and work with established team to help set plan to investigate Quality concerns
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelors Degree Material Science, Metallurgical, or Welding Engineering
- 0-6 years of experience (Preferred - co-op or industry with experience in lab setting)
- Experience in Quality, Manufacturing or Material Analysis (heat treat, casting, welding, failure analysis or related lab environment)
Working Conditions
- Moderate lifting of components
- Exposure to chemicals/etchants
- Destructive analysis tools including saws
- ~ 5-10 hours OT / week, with need to work unexpected overtime as issues arise.
- Limited supplier and international travel

Job Purpose
Lead, create, and implement innovative technical activities and solutions in the areas of Mass Production, Business Plan and New Model to efficiently meet or exceed Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale characteristic targets.
Key Accountabilities
- Effectively communicate upstream and downstream to all levels of the organization to assure common understanding and direction.
- Review and analyze daily report(s) to identify safety, quality, delivery gaps and develop potential countermeasures and/or root cause analysis opportunities striving for continuous improvement.
- Utilize data analysis and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) to lead, support, develop and justify solutions with related groups/departments for your area of responsibility to solve complex problems.
- Monitor and manage equipment and processes to ensure optimal manufacturing performance and function while minimizing operating expense.
- Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and sharing of experiences in area of technical expertise and understanding.
- Establish priorities and make decisions based on data analytics to most effectively accomplish business objectives.
- Manage project implementation, schedule, budget and resource allocations to ensure successful completion and target achievement.
- Test, evaluate, and implement new and innovative technologies to improve overall equipment and process efficiency.
- Develop and manage investment and expense budgets to achieve overall cost targets.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with relevant experience (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical, etc.) with interest in Manufacturing, if no degree 6 years of experience required.
- Manufacturing co-op experience preferred but not required.
- Computer literate to support industry standard software applications.
- Positive attitude, open minded & team player.
- Strong self-motivation and desire to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Self-managed and able to provide and set direction for others to be successful.
- Demonstrates leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrate strong communication (verbal/written) skills.
- Ability to multi-task and solve complex problems thru analysis to propose and implement appropriate countermeasures based on timing, quality, and cost.
- Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage projects.
Working Conditions
- Work in production environment requiring personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout in manufacturing operations.
- Manufacturing environment with the potential of working near hydraulic oils, cutting lubricants, ferrous and aluminum materials.
- Hands-on investigation and troubleshooting within equipment to countermeasure issues and to determine improvement activity.
- Working with hand/power tools, automation equipment, quality gauging and instrumentation.
- 50% office environment/ 50% manufacturing lineside activity.
- 10-15 hours overtime per week possible.
- Possible weekend or off-shift support as necessary.
- Travel 5% (domestic & international).
