**JOB SUMMARY:**
Manufacturing Managers - Pulp manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources. Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

**Role Summary**
The Manufacturing Manager - Power & Recovery is the leader of the Power, Recovery and Caustic Plant organizations at the fully integrated mill in Texarkana, TX. This role is accountable for the safe and efficient operations of all Power, Recovery and Caustic Plant areas, andreports to thePulp and Power Operations Manager.

+ Provide visible and active leadership for the overall Power & Recovery Operations

**Required Characteristics**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Paper Science or related field with ten (10) years operations experience within the paper industry including five (5) years in leadership roles
+ Demonstrated leadership skills combined with technical knowledge and operations experience in pulp and paper manufacturing processes, including digester operations, pulp screening, pulp washing, and bleaching processes

**MISSION / SUMMARY:** The Manufacturing Manager - Paper directs all aspects of the business function for the paper area.
**JOB FUNCTION:** _Job functions include, but are not limited to the following._
+ Lead the paper departments to safely deliver the mill's commitment to the environment, quality, production and EBIDTA results while ensuring the mill adheres to Graphic Packaging's core values (Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships and Teamwork).
+ Demonstrate unyielding use of Management Operating Systems (MOS) including Six-Sigma, LEAN, KT, etc.
+ Demonstrate situational leadership in the implementation of problem solving strategies and execution of key performance objectives in the production of finished product.
+ Establish and provide the operational expertise component of leading and managing our cultural change process, the strategic and forward-thinking capabilities in both the operational and human capital areas of the operation.
+ Establish and direct production operations to provide products according to job schedules and customer expectations.
+ Determine training needs and administer appropriate training program for salaried and hourly employees in the areas of responsibility.
+ Develop and implement program for new capital investments, cost reduction and equipment refurbishment.
+ Administer and implement Labor relations (CBA) through consultation with the Human Resources and Mill Manager
+ Develop and administer material and labor usage.
+ Preparation of budgets and standards for cost measurement.
**BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:**
+ 10+ years manufacturing experience. Experience working in an integrated mill (preferred).
+ 5 years of supervisory experience in the pulp and paper industry.
**EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:**
+ Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)

**JOB SUMMARY:** Manufacturing Associate Manager (Front-Line Leaders) assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including: Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources. The ideal candidate will be responsible for weekly mini set check and daily three tire repeatability checks.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Attends Alarms, Sorter stoppages and out of Q condition
+ Responds to poor grind quality reported by grind line operator, makes appropriate grinder setup changes as needed
+ Adjusting tire flow (TUO reassignment when needed) due to unscheduled TUO downtime
+ Monitor individual TUO reject conveyors, assuring proper documentation is on sidewall of tire before forwarding to reclass
+ Request electronics, electrical and or mechanical support through the MAPS maintenance system
+ Attend to conveyor malfunctions and stock jams to maintain production flow
+ Regularly cross checks tires on other uniformity machines to ensure that good tires are not downgraded or bad tires passed
+ Runs CV check tires for radial department, record reading, and call results to appropriate people
+ Runs over sample for Quality Systems and records readings
+ Assists Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical Technicians in trouble shooting uniformity machines
+ Checks dust collector once per shift and empties dust barrels as necessary
**Shift Information** **:** 12-hr shift (potential for days or nights)
+ 2-2-3 continuous work schedule (This scheduling allows for some natural overtime and gives a three-day weekend every other week)
**Work Environment** **:** Texarkana, AR Plant
+ The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.
+ The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy.

**Basic Qualifications:**
