This position is part of ATP, which includes sites located in Independence, MO and in McPherson, KS. Our Independence site is based in an underground industrial complex customized for Fiberglass production. The McPherson site is a metal fabrication and weld shop, in the picturesque setting of America's Heartland. The ATP team is comprised of a diverse group from varying backgrounds, all motivated by an enjoyable and positive work culture. ATP team members primarily support the production of steel and aluminum hatch covers and gates for Wabtec's Freight Components division.

How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Independence-based team, you will be responsible for the general assembly of products in accordance with product specifications, engineering drawings, and quality procedures. You will be cross trained in a variety of tasks, including building products using fiberglass, resins, and hard structural materials. Your training will also include the use of a variety of hand and pneumatic tools. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Supervisor, as well as the Plant Manager.

- First Shift: Monday - Thursday 5 am to 3:00 pm
- Friday shift is considered overtime (time and half) after 40 hours and will be opened up depending on production schedule.

**About the role**
The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating various types of machinery to ensure the production of high-quality products.
**Role Responsibilities**
+ Ensure quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and standards of the Quality System.
+ Comply with and support the Haleon Environmental, Health and Safety policy and procedures.
+ Operate and troubleshoot a variety of machinery. Operate the work saver and stand up/sit down lifts as needed. Utilize manlifts. Perform line changeovers, which include cleaning, disassembly, reassembly of line equipment and lubrication.
+ Support line performance, working closely with team associates for achievement of line standards. Perform preventive maintenance to sustain line performance and adhere to the production schedule.
+ Follow SOP's, change control/validation processes, and adhere to established cleaning programs for GMP compliance.
+ Work as a High-Performance Team member supporting all aspects of team performance. Work on Cross Functional Teams supporting the intent to improve equipment utilization, line changeover times, new technology and state of the art automation.
+ Understand and seek continuous improvement of the business needs.
+ Complete batch record documentation monitoring Right First-Time results and related Key Performance Indicators.
+ Assist in the training of other Technicians as needed. Assist in the development of SOP's and required annual review. Assist in the generation of measurements to track efficiencies and other pertinent data for the unit to identify and implement continuous improvement efforts.
+ Report all safety concerns and hazards immediately.
+ Comply with all operational safety, process safety, environmental permits, Quality policies, procedures, and training requirements.
+ Utilize SAP and perform various tasks (i.e. create material requests, create and confirm transfer orders, perform confirmations, look up materials, assign, reassign and issue handling units).
