A welder (I) for Lennox at our Wheeling, WV location is a skilled position responsible for performing welding tasks with precision and expertise. They work with various materials, such as galvanized steel and aluminum, interpret blueprints, and ensure the quality and integrity of our products (roof curbs, drop boxes, etc.). The compensation for this position is $19.50 per hour. Opportunity for Over Time!
What you will be doing:
- Fabricate custom and standard products from blueprints with high attention to detail and efficiency.
- Communicate with the shop manager and engineering on product issues and assist with streamlining methods for production.
- MIG weld 10-to-20-gauge galvanized steel for adapters, curbs, and other products.
- Conduct visual inspections of welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.

Qualifications:
- Familiar with safe welding practices.
- Capable of learning to read fabrication drawings with some instruction.
- Capable of welding 10-to-20-gauge galvanized steel. (Can be taught)
- Must be physically capable of loading fabrication parts onto the weld table.
- Capable of blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Individual must be a self-starter and need minimal guidance on daily task.
- Must be quality oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Individual must have a working knowledge of MIG welding machines with respect to preventive maintenance and control settings to obtain maximum efficiencies.
Education/Experience:
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: Trade school or certification in welding.
- Required: 1-year previous MIG welding experience.
- Able to work with a positive attitude and in a team setting.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
