Overview
Taurus Industrial Group’s Specialty Services division is seeking a Manufacturing/Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations at our OEM manufacturing facility and warehouse in the Pittsburgh Metro (Greensburg) area. This role is critical in supporting production of our induction heating machines, co-axial cables, and specialty equipment, while ensuring efficient warehousing, order fulfillment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring strong supervisory skills, experience in manufacturing and warehouse management, and working knowledge of quality systems, including KanBan and 5S methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of manufacturing and warehouse teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
- Oversee OEM manufacturing of induction heating machines, wands, co-axial cables, and related specialty equipment.
- Manage warehousing activities, including inventory control, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance standards, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles, including KanBan scheduling, 5S, and process optimization.
- Coordinate material flow between manufacturing and warehouse to support timely project delivery.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and training to manufacturing and warehouse personnel.
- Monitor KPIs for productivity, quality, safety, and delivery, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Partner with management on production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Recommended Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:
- 5+ years in manufacturing/warehouse supervision, preferably in industrial equipment or OEM production environments.
- Experience with induction machines, electrical assemblies, or cable manufacturing a strong plus.
- Education: Associate Degree preferred and/or equivalent hands-on supervisory experience considered.
- Technical/Operational Skills:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and warehousing practices.
- Familiarity with Lean/Continuous Improvement tools (KanBan, 5S, Kaizen, root cause analysis).
- Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and MS Office Suite.
- Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced production/warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work on-site daily in the Greensburg area.

The Manufacturing Supervisor is accountable for meeting production deliverables, immediate communication to the management team regarding production, quality, environmental or safety issues, and managing the performance and conduct of production employees.
Responsibilities
- Supervise manufacturing team members, which includes scheduling, completing performance reviews, issuing corrective action, training, timecard approvals, Production Recording verification, etc.

- Knowledge of manufacturing engineering and related management processes (e.g. Kaizen, SPC, TPM, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC, Six-Sigma) a plus
- Good communication and organization skills

Education and Experience
- High school diploma required.

Job Description
The Manufacturing People Partner is responsible for all People Function needs for their assigned Manufacturing site, helping to drive overall plant performance and creating an inclusive and safe work environment. Responsible for delivering professional guidance to employees and managers on HR related topics, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and organizational policies. Focuses on delivering consistent and high-quality human resource service for the manufacturing organization and you act as a key driver of employee and labor relations strategies, contributing to organizational stability and a positive employee experience.
Primarily based in Murrysville, PA, you will also support the New Kensington and Mt. Pleasant, PA locations.
Your role:

Provide professional guidance and support for performance improvement plans (PIP), ensuring adherence to local policies and best practices. Oversee and manage cases of absence and sick leave, collaborating with People Leaders to ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements. Engage with authorities and experts (internal or external) on sick leave-related cases when required. Handle disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution with fairness and consistency. Conduct and support investigations related to the General Business Principles.

Address and provide advisory support on rewards-related questions ensuring alignment with local guidelines and internal equity. May represent the employer in the country in legally required councils such as Social Fund, Health & Safety, Pension etc. May lead negotiations with unions and works councils, ensuring outcomes align with organizational goals while maintaining constructive relationships. May provide expert advice on specific labor relations domains, workforce transition and implications and execution of Collective Labor Agreements (CLA) ensuring compliance with agreements, regional labor laws and in alignment with organizational goals. Ensure consistent application of HR and labor relations policies and practices across the organization.

Monitor adherence to local labor laws, escalating potential risks to appropriate stakeholders. Ensure compliance and monitor holiday balances to ensure timely use. Organize for government funding support where applicable on people functions initiatives (training, diversity, etc.). Drive merit-based hiring and inclusive practices and ensure compliance with local employment legislation including equal employment opportunity where applicable. Obtain legal and works council approval to enable local implementation of sales incentives. Structure local grading based on collective contract and WC negotiation. Consult on merit adjustments during ACR and salary increases.

You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor's in People Management, Change Management, HR Processes, or equivalent; or a Master's in a related field with no experience required.

Your skills include leading organizational change, business transformation, and people initiatives that deliver measurable impact. Strong understanding of employment and labor laws in manufacturing, ensuring compliance with local regulations and collective labor agreements (where applicable), and handling performance improvement plans (PIPs), disciplinary actions, and grievances.

You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, People Management, Change Management, HR Processes or equivalent.

Philips Transparency Details
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
The pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is $89,000 to $142,000.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
