A well-established global automotive supplier is seeking an experienced and driven Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead operations at a new, state-of-the-art technical center and manufacturing facility. Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading all manufacturing engineering and maintenance functions. You'll oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. A key part of the role includes managing the maintenance department and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, safety, and quality
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate new products and technologies into manufacturing
• Evaluate and improve existing processes using lean, Six Sigma, and other best practices
• Track manufacturing KPIs such as cycle time, scrap rates, and equipment uptime
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repair for all production equipment
• Work closely with equipment vendors during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Manage vendor relationships and technical resources
• Control and manage the engineering and maintenance budgets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master's a plus)
• At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the automotive industry
• Experience managing maintenance teams, systems, and preventive maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes for powertrain and electric vehicle components
• Skilled in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement techniques
• Proven leadership in managing teams and cross-functional project execution
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management abilities
• Experience with CAD and manufacturing software
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards and safety protocols

**The Role:**
We are looking for a strategic Manufacturing Engineering Launch Manager to join our team, responsible for driving the planning and execution of specific assignments related to the Orion Assembly manufacturing operations launch activities. Leveraging existing GM systems, you will utilize advanced techniques such as data analytics, utilize best practices, and ensure alignment between production and engineering for specific assignments.
**What You'll Do:**
- Responsible for the launch of various plant activities. Scope will include various sustainment projects and automation development systems within the site.
- Lead the procurement of specific development automation equipment and controls infrastructure related to new technology being introduced to the site.
- Collaborate across Bodyshop, General Assembly and Paint to define requirements for optimization projects.
- Drive automation risk assessments, safety validations, and compliance for the equipment Plant Manufacturing Engineering is responsible to manage.
- Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of facility upgrades.
- Ensure facility modifications align with automation requirements, ergonomic standards, and environmental regulations.
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, safety to deliver integrated solutions from our site.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules for both facility and automation scopes.
- Track progress against key milestones and proactively mitigate risks, delays, or scope changes.

- Ability to travel around 20% of the time (US and international)
- Experienced in manufacturing operations.

**Job Description Summary**
The Quality Engineer is a role within the Quality Control organization which oversees Computer System Validation (CSV) activities for all Quality Control software and equipment/instrumentation. The individual in this position will create, execute, review, and approve validation documentation, participate in cross-functional planning, and execution meetings as well as provide support for issue resolution.
Additionally, this role would be the Subject Matter Expert for Data Integrity for the Quality Control department. The role is responsible for identifying compliance and data integrity issues related to QC equipment and implement effective resolutions. The role provides assistance to Regulatory Agency inspections and audits in addition to providing guidance and recommendations for identified data situations.

Scope of Authority
The incumbent in this position is specifically to focus Quality Control Laboratories and provides software/equipment/process solutions to the laboratory. The role will be responsible for creation, execution, and approval of validation for all QC software and equipment. Additionally, acts as a Subject Matter Expert for electronic Data Integrity topics.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in life science, physical science, or technology field with 6+ years' laboratory experience in QC functions in a GMP laboratory
+ Data Integrity assessment experience
+ Direct experience authoring/editing/executing validation documents for laboratory equipment and/or laboratory systems (LIMS, ELN, CDS)
+ Excellent knowledge of FDA regulations, ISPE guidelines and ISO standards
Knowledge

+ Review and evaluate internal validation documentation (i.e., user requirement specifications, functional specifications, protocols, reports, etc.)
+ Perform review of vendor protocols and creation of in-house supporting documentation to deliver a complete package of qualification documentation
+ Develop and implement solutions to validation related discrepancies and deviations
+ Ensure compliance to data integrity requirements in a GMP environment
