The role of the Manufacturing Engineer involves applying engineering theory and principles to address challenges in industrial layout and manufacturing production. This position requires the ability to create engineering drawings and interpret blueprints effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency.
+ Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
+ Read worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
+ Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
+ Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
Essential Skills
+ Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
+ Ability to work as a team player and with attention to detail.
+ Capability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
+ Experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
+ 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in new assembly line design and launch.
+ Proficiency in tooling design, jig/fixture design using CATIA or other CAD software.
+ Experience in manufacturing process improvements and PFMEA.
+ Basic experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is advantageous.
Work Environment
The position is based in a state-of-the-art automotive factory located in Casa Grande, Arizona. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM PST, with flexibility as needed. This role requires onsite presence.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $67.00/hr.

Maintenance Manager Job description - Manufacturing This is a critical role leading the Maintenance function for a tire manufacturing plant in Mesa, AZ. The Maintenance Manager is responsible to ensure their team complies with all safety procedures and continuously improve site safety. This position also seeks to continually improve the reliability, and efficiency of plant mechanical rotating and fixed equipment. Using a variety of tools, technology and experience, the maintenance manager is expected to enhance the company's approach to predictive and preventative maintenance in our chemical processing environment. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing the department CapEx and OpEx budgets and working in those budgets to achieve the company goals and objectives.

Responsible for the overall results for multi-shift manufacturing operations resources for a manufacturing line(s); directly mentors and coaches other Front-Line leaders who are accountable for shift performance on the line.
Accountable to ensure understanding by these individuals of result delivery impact of their shift on the overall results of the multi-shift line or department.
Model and promote the behaviors that ensure delivery of high-quality products for our customers while championing compliance with Abbott policies and procedures, meeting all local and statutory requirements, and adhering to the regulatory requirements of countries to which products are shipped.
Model and promote a thorough understanding of what drives product costs, profitability, and cash flow within the department, while operating within fiscal constraints, material utilization and CIP goals.
Train others in understanding for operator engagement and involvement in cost management.
Establish financial statements, key performance measures, and hold accountability for line budgetary decisions.
Track, trend, and continuously improve key performance measures.
Establish financial performance goals for areas such as OEE, labor, downtime, units per hour, CIP and material usage (Note: This list is not all inclusive).
Establish and drive OEE objectives, understand drivers, and develop plans around improvement of line performance and quality metrics. Understand all productivity performance indicators, developing, driving and leading the execution of plans through utilization and involvement of all team and support resources.
Directly supervise team and lead staffing activities.
Assures team members are trained and understand duties, responsibilities, and performance against established expectations.
Provide timely coaching, counseling and feedback. Establishes the right team culture, where people are accountable for the business and continuously improving the line.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business, science, food technology, technical or engineering with
7+ years experience in manufacturing leadership role preferred.Proven leadership capabilities
Project planning & execution experiences
Process control knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a regulated manufacturing work environment.
Experience utilizing project planning and execution tools.
Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR and other regulatory requirements for Infant Formula
