Industrial Electrician / Electronic Repairman 3 to 5+ years experience

Must work well in a team oriented manufacturing environment

Mainly working on electrical problems, but also willing to work with mechanical personnel to solve problems together

Complex problem solving is needed with a team attitude

Must have industrial electrical knowledge with the ability to work with 3 phase motors, inverters, and servos. AC and DC control circuit component trouble shooting ability

Electronics understanding of components such as Diodes, Resistors, Capacitors, etc.

Must be able to read industrial electrical drawings with the ability to use trouble shooting equipment such as Oscilloscope, Multimeter, and Amprope to solve equipment problems

A good understanding of PLCs preferably Allen-Bradley and Omron. Ability to get connected to the plc and trouble shoot the logic

Familiarity with Rockwell PLC products and understanding of software, connecting, etc. Not necessarily programming but troubleshooting

Some programming ability would be a plus

Willingness to work overtime as needed

Ability to work 2nd OR 3rd shift, but 3rd is needed immediately.

Position Summary:
Randstad USA is hiring experienced Maintenance Mechanics to support a top manufacturing site in Woodridge, IL . You’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing industrial packaging and facility equipment. This is a long-term, direct-hire opportunity with weekly pay and full benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components

  • Tear down and rebuild equipment; replace defective parts like motors, gearboxes, bearings, and control units

  • Follow schematics, blueprints, maintenance sheets, and work orders

  • Maintain packaging machines and facility equipment with a focus on safety and minimal downtime

  • Respond to maintenance calls across the production floor

  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience

  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting (AC/DC, low voltage)

  • Strong problem-solving skills in both electrical and mechanical systems

  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams

  • Must provide your own basic mechanical hand tools

  • Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs and stay on feet 80–90% of shift

  • Blow molding experience (Uniloy or Bekum) is a strong plus

+ Responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients
+ Review Federal and Multi-State Partnership tax returns
+ Lead client relationships on day to day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services
