**Position Summary:**
The Manufacturing Manager leads all plastics and assembly manufacturing operations at the Frankfort facility, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for driving operational excellence through effective leadership, process optimization, and a culture of accountability. The Manufacturing Manager will oversee and develop a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators while implementing continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data-driven decision-making, and adopting advanced manufacturing technologies to enhance performance and profitability.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
**Leadership & People Development**
+ Lead, coach, and develop shift leaders/supervisors, floor technicians, and mold technicians to build a high-performance culture.
+ Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify development opportunities.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and safety.
**Process Optimization & Efficiency**
+ Establish, document, and maintain optimum processing parameters with upper and lower control limits for process monitoring systems.
+ Drive OEE improvement and scrap reduction initiatives.
+ Analyze manufacturing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement Lean/Six Sigma methods.
+ Coordinate first-time tool runs, mold try-outs, and full-scale production startups.
**Safety & Quality**
+ Champion a zero-incident safety culture by leading hazard assessments, corrective actions, and machine safety reviews.
+ Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer quality requirements.
+ Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to set and maintain material and process standards.
**Strategic Initiatives**
+ Develop and execute short- and long-term manufacturing improvement plans aligned with division strategy.
+ Leverage MES and other digital tools to drive data-based decision-making.
+ Stay current on emerging technologies and automation solutions to improve competitiveness.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, skilled CNC Tool and Cutter Grinder who is proficient in using different grinding software platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating master CNC grinding programs and investigating automation techniques and ways to optimize the manufacturing for grinding CNC machines to produce high-quality cutting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient with programming Anca, Numroto platforms, and is willing to learn other programming grinding platforms and help set up CNC machines to produce high-quality tools and parts.
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure the accurate production of parts.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure that all parts are manufactured to the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Standardize grinding programs, structure wheel packs, and write setup procedures to ensure optimal operator practices and resources.

  • Troubleshoot programing issues and setup issues that may arise during production.

Qualifications:

The Manufacturing Process Improvement Lead reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality. This hands-on role supports continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication operations and collaborates closely with engineering, production, and quality teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Lead Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and root cause analysis to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Analyze current manufacturing workflow to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluates and recommends capital expenditures.
  • Support new product introduction by ensuring robust and scalable manufacturing processes.
  • Design and engineer fixtures, tooling, and gauges as required.
  • Develop and implement standardized work procedures and best practice across departments.
  • Revises process routings for reoccurring and rework job orders, as well as Methods of Manufacture
  • Provide technical support to plant operations and maintenance teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process changes meet safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPI) related to production, quality, cost savings.
  • Train and mentor members on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general reports and procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and material specifications.
  • Proficient in the use of current Solid Works software applications. 
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively write business correspondences and generate reports as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present information accurately and respond to questions from groups of managers, department supervisors and customers regarding engineering quotes, etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting or problem resolution skills.
  • Prior cobot and or industrial robot programming

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree required in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or related field of study) or 2-year technical certification with equivalent related engineering or sheet metal experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous work experience in process improvement.
  • Prior sheet metal experience preferred.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
  • Experience with inspection methods for various tolerance requirements (up to ± .XXX) preferred.
  • Experience with OSP Heat Treatment, Plating, & Grinding/Lapping (and their effects on tolerances) preferred.

Packer Compensation:

  • Starting rate $19.13 an hour+ $1.00 shift differential for nights -paid weekly

Responsibilities

As a Packer, you will:

Packer provides support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration.

  • Package product into boxes and prepare for shipment

  • Check for quality issues to product and contact team lead with issues

  • Ensure you have enough supplies at your station (boxes, tape ect.)

  • Keep station clean at all times

  • Follow safety guidelines at all times

Education and/or Experience:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred

  • Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.

  • Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

Physical Demand/Effort:

  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves

  • Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift

  • Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job

  • Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles

+ **1st Shift:** 6:00AM - 2:30PM

+ **3** **rd** **Shift** : 10:00PM - 6:30AM
+ **Overnight Rotating Weekends 2-2-3 Shift:** 6:00PM - 6:30AM

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients
+ Lead client relationships on day to day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services
+ Research and consult on technical matters and special projects
+ Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client service
+ Actively participate in business development efforts to include working collaboratively with partners and marketing professionals to target and build relationships with client prospects

Additional Responsibilities:
+ Attain a thorough technical competency and industry specific expertise through CPE, firm/industry group events, webinars, etc.

+ Prepare and review client correspondence (letter, e-mail, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualifications:
+ CPA license required
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's in Taxation or JD preferred
+ Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of public accounting and industry
+ Strong preference for candidates with experience serving manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution clients, as well as a solid technical foundation in tax matters specific to the manufacturing sector
+ Demonstrated expertise in tax issues relevant to the manufacturing and industrial products sector
+ Strong technical knowledge of federal, and state tax regulations
+ Deep knowledge in C corporations, tax provisions and consolidated returns
+ Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and lead teams effectively
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship skills
+ Effectively communicates verbally as well as short-form, and long-form writing
