Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Reports to: Senior Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities - Responsible for implementing process improvements on the floor. - May be responsible for entire project from design through installation, or a portion of the project. - Also responsible for assisting in day-to-day machine and tooling problem resolution. Specific Duties: - Promotes continuous improvement in environmental and safety issues by ensuring that equipment is designed, modified or repaired to maintain and improve safety and environmental performance. Reacts immediately to safety issues as they arise. - Follow all environmental and safety policies and procedures. - Monitors and controls current processes and utilizes design and mechanical skills to help improve such processes. - Identifies, implements, and evaluates process improvements (within individual capability) at the unit level and communicates these changes to the department. - Participates in process improvement groups. - Identifies the technical training needs of the unit and assists in the development of training programs. - Writes AR's and EARs as required. - Documents process improvements through print changes and procedure changes. - Trains all employees affected by process changes. - Provides necessary technical support for plant safety and resolution of safety deficiencies within the department. - Utilizes constraint management to maximize process output. - Ensures equipment availability and capability through administration of the Preventative Maintenance Program. - Provides support as requested by Supervisor. Education - An associate's degree in engineering science or Machine Design preferred. Experience - Four years of experience in machine operation and set-up - Five years of experience in coating and surface finish (IROX Only) - CAD Design, AutoCADTM preferred. - Demonstrated technical design and build experience. - Proficiency in PM system administration. - Interpersonal skills. - Problem solving skills. - Computer skills. Job Description

This shift requires availability Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, along with excellent punctuality and attendance.

The primary purpose of this position is to develop competency in and performance basic assembly and/or inspection operations at Integer. The incumbent is expected to follow written procedures to meet production and quality requirements.

* Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI's).


* Understands own tasks and how they relate to others on their team. Works under close Supervision where duties are clearly defined. Will follow Standard Work where applicable.


* Assembles component parts as per print. Utilizes both manual and automatic machine operation.


* Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.


* Completes required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).


* May package assemblies for shipment.


* Participates in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.


* Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, and classroom instruction.


* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Actively participates in "flex break" programs as required.


* Performs other functions as required.


* Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent.


* Minimum Experience: 0-2 years related work experience.


* Specialized Knowledge: Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instruction. Must learn to recognize obvious defects in workmanship


* Special Skills: Ability to read blueprints preferred. Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred. Previous light assembly experience in a regulated industry with medical devices preferred.


* Other: Able and willing to learn assembly operations; work is closely supervised.
