As a key member of our manufacturing engineer team, you will:
- Generate work instructions and order tooling to execute fabrication or procurement of airframe details, assemblies and installations
- Work with the design engineers during basic and detail design phases to assure design is producible and can be fabricated to meet cost and schedule targets
- Provide technical support to Operations during aircraft assembly and respond to Sikorsky airframe supplier inquiries
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost of poor quality using 6 sigma tools

Working knowledge / experience of manufacturing mechanical assembly processes, electronic testing methods, factory automation equipment, industrial safety processes, technical writing, and teaming.
Familiarity with manufacturing software DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES), PTC Creo CAD, Windchill PLM with MPMLink and Systems Applications & Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
