What Do You Need?

**What's a typical day as a Manufacturing Associate? You'll be:**
- Responsible for the cleaning of buildings and process areas, ensuring sanitary conditions to promote plant GMPs and food safety. This position reports to the Elevator Department Supervisor/Manager, Jeff Davenport and Chris Binder.
- Following all department procedures and adhering to safety and GMP requirements as set forth in plant policies.
- Keeping up with the Master Sanitation List and signing off on completed jobs, while working in a dusty environment and around loud machinery.

**Program Summary:**
Our 18-month development program provides participants a full-time operational role, designed to improve their manufacturing skills and exposure to Saint-Gobain North America.
Participants will be located at one singular manufacturing plant for 18 months and will be involved with quarterly travel to other Saint-Gobain manufacturing sites in North America. The time split between local site projects and EOM program activities is 80:20 respectively. Classroom-based E-learnings, hands-on action-based learning in operational environments as well as a plethora of networking opportunities, are just some of the activities in place designed to accelerate your career development and future career growth. These trainings and quarterly travel opportunities are a requirement for program completion and full participation should be given, except for extenuating circumstances.
While start dates for EOM program participants may vary, program activities kickoff each year in July and end 18 months later in December of the following year.
Upon program completion, EOM Engineers will work with our dedicated Human Resources team to find an operational role in one of our nearly 160 sites throughout North America.
While a final placement role is not guaranteed, most EOM Engineer graduates are able to choose from multiple Saint-Gobain sites for final placement offers.
**Job Responsibilities:**
The role duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the location. Some examples of specific responsibilities are:
+ Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
+ Supporting capital expenditure projects/ new equipment installations.
+ Supporting safety/sustainability initiatives at the plant.
+ Implementing new automation processes at the site.
+ Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.

**Qualifications**
+ B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical.)
+ Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is **$68,700** to **$06,300** per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is **9%** of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is ** 74,883** to ** 115,867** **.** Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
