Key Responsibilities

Safety Leadership

• Champion workplace safety by identifying and eliminating hazards.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
• Lead weekly toolbox talks and safety updates.

Production Management

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Manage resources, staffing, and workflows for optimal output.
• Communicate shift performance metrics and forecasts to leadership.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor KPIs, earned ratios, and operational efficiency.
• Implement and sustain process improvements to boost productivity.
• Address performance issues promptly and fairly.

Training & Development

• Support cross-training programs to create a flexible, skilled workforce.
• Track training progress and support career growth for team members.

Facility & Equipment Oversight

• Conduct routine equipment inspections and ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

Communication & Leadership

• Lead pre-shift meetings and post-shift performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Scheduling, Materials, Engineering, and HR teams.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment and uphold company standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in sheet metal fabrication or machining .
• Proven ability to enforce policies and provide fair, timely feedback.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Data-driven decision-making skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative leadership style.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting products, sharing data to ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards. The Quality Control Mechanic will also be responsible for maintaining records of all inspections and tests, as well as providing feedback on any issues or discrepancies. Your Responsibilities Learn and become familiar with PUSA products, services, and other areas, to answer general inquiries or redirect to the appropriate staff. Responsible for inspecting equipment / trucks at various stages of the production process and compile data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Adheres to all company, local, and federal procedures, guidelines, and rules regarding the protection of self and plant staff. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns. Reports compliance with company product specifications to Shop Foreman, Team Leader, line mechanic or other appropriate staff. Maintains a work area that is neat and orderly. ___Your Qualifications 2 years of experience in relevant role, in manufacturing or mechanic shop. Must be proficient in the usage of computers. Must be able to work in various weather (snow, rain, cold, heat). Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds. Must have strong problem-solving skills. Must have strong time management skills to properly prioritize and complete daily tasks with the ability to work independently.
