We are looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager 2 working in our Depot production and repair operation located in Warner Robins, GA.
**What You'll Get to Do:**
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager 2 will lead a team of engineers working within the Warner Robins Operating Unit. The successful candidate will lead direct report employees based on organizational goals, program activity, and company policies. The ideal candidate will be able to work individually as well as collaborate with a diverse group of individuals, work tactically, but with an eye towards future strategy, and exhibit solid communication skills while acting as the technical representative voice for the depot manufacturing engineering team.
The Manager will support and be accountable for goals including:
+ Provide project and technical oversight of all activities performed by the group
+ Prepare cost estimates, provide proposal inputs, and review proposal content for both internal and external customers
+ Presents work products at program reviews, proposals, or other project meetings
+ Create new and modify existing assembly/ manufacturing instructions with necessary operations to support build sequence, while also including specifications/quality requirements
+ Apply advanced manufacturing processes, model-based manufacturing, and development of manufacturing plan
+ Ensure team members are familiar with and use required engineering processes, procedures, and tools
+ Facilitate/mediate in conflict resolution matters.
+ Leadership for support and adherence to standard processes.
+ Cultivate an inclusive and engaging workplace. Ensure employees' work life balance is appropriate.
+ Forecasting staffing needs and workload; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; providing employee training and identifying necessary skills for program execution; managing employee performance reviews; and leading multitude of functional management processes.

**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Must have 12 years of engineering or related experience with a high school diploma/GED.
+ Will also consider a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline with 8 years of engineering or related experience; Masters Degree in an engineering discipline with 6 years of engineering or related experience; Will also consider 10 years of engineering or related experience with Associates Degree in Engineering discipline
+ 6+ years of manufacturing engineering and/or manufacturing technology experience
+ 4+ years of project management / IPT leadership / cost account management experience.
+ Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills along with proven success working in an integrated product team environment.
+ High proficiency in technical problem solving, to include trade studies and root cause analysis.
+ Candidate must have knowledge of engineering and manufacturing process, be proficient in process development as well as functional organization aspects.
+ Experience and extensive knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes and development of manufacturing plans.
+ Experience in cost estimation, cost account management, developing detailed integrated schedules, risk identification and management, earned value management, and proposals
+ This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret (or higher) clearance.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors Degree in STEM related discipline
+ Experience as an engineering manager, program manager, and/or chief engineer
+ Experience generating or overseeing the creation of Manufacturing BOMs, processes, and work instructions
+ Knowledge of USAF Electronic Warfare, Radar, and/or Avionics business areas
+ Experience leading large cross functional development projects.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Principal or Sr Principal Manufacturing System Engineer.** This position will be located at our site in **Warner Robins, GA.** where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Depot Manufacturing Team working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.

**This position may be filled at either Principal or Sr Principal Manufacturing System Engineer.**
We seek a **Principal or Sr. Principal Manufacturing System Engineer** that uses a unique skill set that includes a hands-on approach and act as the depot production focal point for the management of assembly processes and reporting.
The primary responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:
+ Performing activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
+ Acts as a leader and understands that erroneous decisions on their part will result in probable delay and failure of organizational objectives
+ Coordinates with the manufacturing team on day-to-day activities
+ Resolves complex process issues.
+ Works as a liaison between manufacturing engineering, operations, material operations and program management.
+ Acts as the MRP/ERP/MES/iMRO subject matter expert for the Warner Robins location

The basic purpose of the Data Scientist IV, Manufacturing Science and Technology role is to deliver successful data science projects. Duties & Responsibilities

Be the "go to" expert for data science within Manufacturing Science and Technology, for BIAH products and processes throughout product/process lifecycle:

• Uses data scientific techniques to uncover processes & correlations to expand & improve the body of knowledge for BIAH products & technology.

• Delivers optimized solutions for data mining, aligning data processing, predictive analysis and transform data into knowledgeable and understandable information.

• Partners with business units to develop dashboards and applications utilizing data for smart decision making.

• Promotes collaboration & knowledge exchange with other data science teams within and outside the organization.

• Provides thought leadership, research best practices, conduct experiments, & partner with industry leaders.

Facilitates, distills, and integrates data science information into the technical body of knowledge for BIAH products and processes:

• Uses data scientific techniques to uncover processes & correlations that expand and improve the body of knowledge for BIAH products & technology.

• Leads exchange and advocate for continual improved use of data across global and local Manufacturing Science and Technology teams.

• Identifies and resolves causes of poor data quality management, implements solutions & communicates findings.

Requirements

• Master's in data science discipline or related degree with a minimum of eight (8) years industrial experience in Data Science, Predictive Analytics, or Cognitive Analytics.

OR

• Bachelor's degree in data science discipline or related degree with a minimum of ten (10) years of industrial experience in various data science disciplines (Data Science, Computer Science/Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Cognitive Analytics).

• Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science certifications in a industrial quantitative performance disciplines preferred.

• Machine/Deep Learning, CRISP-DM, and Real-time MVDA certifications preferred.

• Experienced in structuring data sets from unstructured data or big data (MapReduce approaches, HDFS, Hadoop architectures, Pig, Spark).

• Expertise in data engineering and contextualization of batch and attribute data by managing pharmaceutical object-oriented programmatic methodologies; specifically, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, WebAPI, SQL, C#, GO, React, .Net, Java, GraphDB/GraphQL, InfluxDB, MongoDB, OSI PI, R, Python, SAS JMP, Spotfire/Tableau, SASEntreprise, Inmation/VisualKPI, SIMCA, SIMCA-online, and Grafana.

• Demonstrated expertise in the time-series batch execution systems, ISA-88 batch execution sequencing and contextualization, creating and executing advanced pharmaceutical batch modeling algorithms, interpreting results, distilling solutions and reports for a business stakeholders that facilitate process awareness and improvements in predictability of critical parameters and quality attributes.

• Demonstrated expertise in project and change management within the Pharmaceutical Industry

• Ability to rapidly develop analytical problem-solving approaches to complex problems, including external constraints such as resource limitations, feasibility topics, consumption by business, change management aspects, etc.

• Strong expertise in relevant methods and skills such as machine learning, advanced statistics, algebra, data visualization, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, classification methods, feature extraction, dimensionality reduction, data handling algorithms, regression methods, time-series analysis, predictive modeling, causal inference methods, Bayesian networks, Markov random fields, text analysis, etc.

• Demonstrated understanding and ability to apply principles, concepts, practices, and standards including knowledge and use of Animal Health or Pharma data and working knowledge of industry practices.

• Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas, facts, and technical information to senior management, as well as internal customers both verbally and written.

• Well-developed understanding of data hygiene as well as data enrichment.

• Experienced in handling data bases including ability to run queries.
