Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Led the day-to-day production activities on the line, responsible for aligning and scheduling personnel and resources to meet the daily and weekly production and equipment demands.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, and other cross-functional teams to meet production needs.
- Support the onboarding and technical training of Manufacturing Operators on process equipment, including high-speed fill lines with integrated Isolators, Terminal Sterilizers, ATEC commodities processing, Parts Washers, Autoclaves, Single-Use Technology, and Aseptic Process Simulations (media fills).
- Assist R&D and MSAT on new product introduction and tech transfer activities to ensure a steady stream of products to meet commercial demand.
- Initiate and complete manufacturing investigations, including root cause analysis and product impact assessment.
- Assist in the revision and management of manufacturing documents such as Batch Records and SOPs.
- Provide technical expertise and support to production teams, addressing issues and challenges as they arise while working closely with Engineering and other support teams.
- Supports regulatory inspections.
- Ability to quickly adapt and adjust priorities in response to changes in the production schedule due to unforeseen disruptions to minimize impact on operations.
Basic Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)
- A minimum of four+ years’ experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing in a GMP environment.
- An associate’s degree or higher in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with sterile fill-finish manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Detailed-oriented with a focus on accuracy in creating and updating production documents.
- Ability to work autonomously and within established guidelines, procedures, and practices.
- Experience in a process improvement environment, including change management.
- Experience in using ERP systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, committed to meeting high-quality standards.
- Experience performing as a shift lead of a team, training others, and developing training material.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of high-speed aseptic filling and barrier system technology (isolator, RABS).

In this key role, you will provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program - from initial concept through final assembly. This will involve the application of lean manufacturing principles to ensure the highest quality, most efficient processes and products possible. You will:
+ Provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program, beginning at initial concept through launch at the final assembly facility.
+ Development of tooling and facilities based on product and process.
+ Apply lean manufacturing principles.

+ Drive resolution of manufacturing issues.
+ Interface with Design and Release activities.

+ Deliver cycle line layouts and work with the assembly plants to have a complete operator/equipment workstation ready for launch.
+ Operate in stressful situations within timing constraints

**You'll have.**
+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical or an equivalent manufacturing engineering
+ Willingness to travel and support launch activities at our North American Assembly plants (USA, Canada & Mexico)
+ Travel is required including co-location at a North American Assembly plant for 9 or more months depending on scale of vehicle launch.
+ 1 or more years of Microsoft Office experience to include Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Up to 40-50% travel required

- Develop and execute test plans for process validation and qualification.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Utilize data analysis tools and statistical methods to monitor process performance and identify root causes of issues.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on new product introductions and process scale-up.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage projects related to process upgrades and new equipment installation.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing processes.
- Facilitate virtual design reviews and problem-solving sessions.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
- Proven experience in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies and equipment.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information remotely.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Experience with CAD software is beneficial.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies.
