The Manufacturing Engineer designs and implements the process, procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process and key contributor to planning, measuring and improving quality through both short-term and long-term initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
- Implements production processes that increase efficiency, reduce cost and ensure safety. (Lean Projects)
- Assesses raw materials for manufacturing and proposes changes to increase product quality and reliability and to reduce cost.
- Participates on cross functional teams focused on product design improvements, new product design and field testing.
- Researches automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production.
- Contributes to the design of tools, machinery or processes that increase productivity and efficiency.
- Implements process validation plans, performs process failure mode effect analysis, and prepares control plans for manufactured and vended products.
- Performs test plans for alternate materials, parts, tools or systems as necessary to introduce improvements.
- Writes engineering changes and deviations to document changes to form, fit or function of production parts or manufacturing processes.
- Evaluates returned goods for manufacturing defects, non-conformances, and product issues as needed. RMA Processes
- Performs dimensional and functional review of manufactured and purchased parts.
- Identifies continuous improvement project opportunities with respect to our customers’ quality experiences with our products and processes
- Leads continuous improvement projects, activities and teams
- Assists with the identification, implementation, and development and maintenance of quality KPIs, metrics, and reports
- Designs and sources gauges and other methods for both existing and new products and processes
- Represents the quality function on New Product Development teams as needed
- Assists in the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Communicates with internal and external customers escalations, help solve problems as needs arise; lead cross-functional efforts to identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Interfaces with suppliers to improve purchase part incoming quality levels, managing SCAR’s with Vendors
- Validate accuracy of Bills of Material and other key aspects of Product Data Management

Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing and industrial engineering
- 2-3 years of manufacturing process, manufacturing production and Quality Assurance experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Training – Preferred Green Belt level, Black Belt a plus.
- Experience using CAD and/or CAE Software. (as a plus)
- Experience with specifying, supporting and troubleshooting automation equipment and ancillary components (PLC, Sensors, Actuators, Etc.).
- Experience with plastic injection molding a plus.
- Experience with plastic part design a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good computer skills at Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal/customer relation skills.
- Strong experience leading lean transformation projects and initiatives
- Demonstrated success leading both large and small quality improvement projects and initiatives

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Confers with management to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Examines quality of products or parts as specified on Inspection Criteria Sheet and Quality Alert.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; address issues to Quality Supervisor/Manager immediately.
• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; create documentation to recommend reject and returning unacceptable materials.
• Inspects, measures and tests parts and products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and other monitoring tools.
• Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
• Verification of in-process production meets specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicate quality concerns to Manager with specification/test result.
• Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and address issues with Quality Supervisor.
• Evaluates and reports deviations from existing standards to Quality Supervisor.
• Accept or reject products using control methods. Assures non-conforming products are identified clearly and segregated, follow Non-Conformance procedure and documentation
• Provide suggestions to modify existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
• Trains others on Quality Standards or methods to assure quality is achieved as products are produced.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Meet and maintain ISO9001 requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of Quality Mechanical Inspection experience, production environment.
• Ability to use hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, etc.) required.
• Experience with metrology, GD&T, blueprint reading, CMM operation a plus
• Fluency in ISO 9001 program management and implementation is an asset.
• Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus, can demonstrate knowledge
• Ability to communicate with tact and patience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What We’re Looking For:We’re seeking a motivated, commission-based Client Acquisition Specialist to help us grow our client base. You’ll be responsible for generating leads, cold calling, and cold emailing decision-makers (owners, HR managers, talent acquisition leaders) at small to mid-sized companies — primarily in manufacturing and engineering.
This is 100% remote , flexible, and results-driven. You’ll be compensated based on booked clients, with generous payouts per deal .
Responsibilities:
Prospect and identify companies that could benefit from recruiting support
