**REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Director Manufacturing - New Categories, Modern Oral in Tobaccoville, NC**
This position is responsible for developing organizational capabilities and execution strategies to support manufacturing and operations over a multi-year horizon ensuring effectiveness and enhancing productivity. The role is accountable for safety, quality and cost associated with finished products and leads a professional staff of managers and engineers along with production associates and oversight of contingent workers.
**Your key responsibilities will include**
+ Identify and implement continuous process improvements which align with strategic company objectives
+ Direct and lead operations management staff in establishing initiatives that align with company objectives
+ Provide leadership and guidance to ensure results driven objectives are clearly defined, communicated, implemented, and monitored for success
+ Direct oversight of project teams responsible for the planning and implementation of new operational procedures, systems and policies. Evaluate progress of these directives against established goals and timelines to optimize results
+ Proactively acquire knowledge of new business development initiatives and technology and strategically evaluate application of these to company initiatives and requirements
+ Leverage expertise to inspire a high performing culture through coaching and mentoring of direct reports and other employees across the organization
+ Build cross-functional relationships to facilitate synergies through teamwork
+ Provide direction to management staff regarding effective teams and collaboration, as well as corrective action recommendations, as needed
**What are we looking for?**
+ BS Degree in Management, Engineering or related field preferred; or 5+ years management experience within a manufacturing environment
+ Demonstrated leadership skills to develop talent as well as ability to set strategy and direction
+ Extensive knowledge of SMD/Quality manufacturing processes and efficiency drivers
+ Broad understanding of manufacturing production and planning as relevant to processes
+ Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
+ Experience in a regulated work environment
+ Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for change or innovations and leverage knowledge to build strategy and achieve desired results
+ Ability to make sounds and timely decisions in a fast-paced environment

Weyerhaeuser is seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility. We are currently looking for an entry level manufacturing technician (operator) to join our Elkin, NC OSB team.
We offer excellent wages,starting pay is $20.25-$4.43 per hour depending on manufacturing experience, and benefit package which includes paid vacation, 401K plan, life insurance options as well as medical, dental, and vision coverage. Medical premiums range from 26.47 per month to 70.60 per month. Weyerhaeuser covers 96% of insurance cost.
Key Functions

Commitment to working safely and following all safety rules and regulations

Responsible for safely operating equipment and maintaining a clean work area

Interpreting work instructions adequately and successfully completing tasks as assigned

Safe start up and shut down of equipment in assigned area of responsibility

Must demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills

Communicating with team members and leadership to ensure consistent exchange of information relative to position
