Responsibilities

Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline preferred.
+ Minimum of 10-15 years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in metal fabrication environment.
+ Proven success with Lean Manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Strong knowledge of CNC machining operations, including programming, tooling, and optimization.
+ Experience managing cross-functional teams, production planning, and operational KPIs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in low-volume, high-mix, or made-to-order manufacturing environments.
+ Familiarity with steel fabrication processes.
+ Working knowledge of ERP systems.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversees production activities by ensuring products are produced, analyzed, and released according to FDA, cGMP, DHS radiation safety, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manages and helps coordinate production schedules to meet customer orders and demand.
• Hires, trains, develops, and manages the performance of production team members. This includes setting goals, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Assists in inventory management, facility maintenance, equipment maintenance, and calibrations among other tasks as needed.
• Operates production equipment and chemistry modules of moderate complexity for novel production of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Assists in root cause analysis of production and/or QC failures including out of specification and non-compliance investigations.
• Works with other team members and principal investigators to develop novel radiopharmaceuticals for clinical production at the Rochester, MN Facility.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with quality control, micro, procurement, radiation safety, etc. to ensure products are shipped right first time.
• Designs and procures production equipment and consumables needed for current and future client processes.
• Works cross-functionally with team members to develop process and equipment standard operating procedures, logbooks, training/qualifications, and validation documentation for production of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in STEM field and / or equivalent combination of education and experience /training required.
• Familiarity with a GMP manufacturing environment and working with FDA cGMP regulations required.
• 3-5 years of radiopharmaceutical production experience required.
• Experience in aseptic processing and techniques required.
• Experience in managing teams in a matrixed organization.
• Superior teamwork, multi-tasking, and time/project management skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and decision-making abilities to prioritize competing work assignments in order to meet deadlines and adherence to quality standards.
• Technical aptitude required for evaluating and procuring equipment needed.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, presentation and computer/pc skills including Microsoft Suite and related software.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
• Mechanical aptitude required; manual dexterity for manipulating small items; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and to handle frequent crawling, stooping, crouching, and kneeling.
• Minimal travel up to 10%.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and sterile environment, adhering to strict health and hygiene standards to ensure the safety and quality of drug products.

What you will do:
* Works independently and able to support a direction or strategy of the manufacturing group. Responsible for business requirements collection from which applications can be developed or modified. Prepares documentation, presentations, and chairs meetings.
* Maintain awareness of business process and technology solution best practices within a specific business segment. Engages and may lead the business customers on business processes and practices associated with the digital systems that implement, support or enable those processes and practices
* Often leads collection and analysis of data and information from business users to understand how systems can solve business problems and identifies opportunities for process improvement
* Engage and may lead in collection and analysis of possible project engagements, documenting project scope (objectives, deliverables, critical success factors, assumptions, global and regional considerations, and resource requirements), prioritization, cost/benefit, potential risks, and feasibility
* Produces and may lead the definition and review of the content for user guides, training classes, and other end-user documentation for applications and processes
* May lead the development of functional test scripts representing business processes and the verification activities that ensure that solutions meet business required
* May lead testing activities with appropriate technical and customer personnel, to ensure that customer interests are represented in all testing stages
* Forges a network of beneficial relationships with all levels, including management, within digital organizations and the customers of digital in order to establish mutual trust and provide a foundation for high level project partnership. Initiates and develops working relationships with internal groups and outside contacts with frequent interaction as a key priority

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in IT or related or equivalent experience
* 3 - 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or corporate business environment
* Proficient in Oracle R12 or SAP S4/HANA
* Must be willing and able to work in an end-user environment, assisting and supporting end users
* Demonstrated ability to lead and administer business projects
* Experience gathering, clarifying, quantifying and documenting business project requirements

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $73,300 - $117,000 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
