Primary responsibilities for Manufacturing Assemblers include:
+ Fit, align, adjust, mount, fasten, attach, and connect parts and components to construct sub-assemblies and units
+ Operate, adjust, and change tools on equipment
+ Operate testing, measuring, and calibration devices and equipment to ensure conformance of product to specifications
+ Identify part shortages
+ Locate and move parts to the work centers; fill parts bins daily; and move scrap or defective parts to proper storage area as required

**Pay Details:** $16.50 per hour

Responsible for maintaining and repairing precision high-speed manufacturing equipment, ensuring machines operate according to quality, safety, and production standards.
- WHAT YOU WILL DO
+ Adjust and repair precision high-speed manufacturing equipment and related systems.
+ Prepare machines for start-ups and shutdowns.
+ Ensure machines operate in compliance with quality, safety, capacity, and good manufacturing practices and standards.

**Qualifications**
- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Education beyond high school in machinery and/or mechanical maintenance, or industrial technology preferred.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Legally eligible to work in the United States.
+ Experience maintaining and repairing high-speed machines in a manufacturing environment.

+ Availability to work any of 3 shifts and overtime, including weekends and holidays, as necessary.
+ Successfully pass job-related tests to enter the Adjuster Training program.

Summary:

Member of the Operations Team. Responsible for electrical machine preventative maintenance, maintenance planning and break-down repair. Duties are assigned based on operational need and will include safety. Participate in a team-based environment of roles and responsibilities. Help improve maintenance processes. Build relationships with co-workers. Contribute best efforts to continuously improve maintenance safety, quality, productivity and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety

Participate in safety activities to identify risks and hazards. Share thoughts and ideas with the team regarding reduction of risks and hazards. Evaluate work area for risks and hazards. Determine safe work method before starting work. Pause and step back to consider safe work method when something unexpected occurs. Report any concerns.

Electrical Maintenance

• Perform maintenance repair. Conduct preventative maintenance.

• Create maintenance planning and scheduling, troubleshoot, construct and install electrical components for machinery and equipment.

• Work on temperature control instruments and recording devises.

• Program programmable controllers, VFD's.

• Install/Build control panels to basic circuit design

• NEC understanding, Example) Run motor circuit with proper sizing

Communication and Relationships

• Actively communicate thoughts, ideas, needs and issues related to the successful performance of assigned duties.

• Share all relevant information regarding day-to-day experience in safety and equipment status.

• work hand in hand with engineering to lead others in execution of work and projects

• Execute trouble shooting, repairs, and installs.

Equipment Reliability

Follow Reliability and Maintenance roles and responsibilities. Assist Operators with learning and understanding Operator Basic Care.

Special Demands:

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• Journeyman level skilled trade

Preferred:

• 3-5 years of Industrial Electrician or Maintenance Technician experience with a strong background in PLCs, automation, motor control and industrial equipment

About this Position:

**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a self-motivated Senior Control and Programming Technician to join the Maintenance and Engineering team of BD manufacturing plant in Mebane, NC. You will play a central role in maintaining and improving automation equipment to ensure reliable manufacturing equipment. This is a hands-on role, working to troubleshoot in real-time and continuously looking for improvement of equipment reliability. You will support production flow, quality assurance, and the safe operation of a high-volume automated manufacturing operation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Work safely and comply with all applicable safety and quality procedures
+ Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Replace or repair faulty components and recalibrate systems as needed.
+ Diagnose faults in control systems and machinery using diagnostic tools and software.
+ Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
+ Configure and maintain HMI interfaces and SCADA systems.
+ Install and configure automated control systems including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and actuators.
+ Commission new equipment and ensure proper integration with existing systems.
+ Maintain accurate records of programming changes, maintenance activities, and process settings changes.
+ Ensure all systems comply with safety and regulatory standards.
