The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes. This includes collaborating with production teams, ensuring product quality, reducing waste, improving efficiency, and applying engineering principles to manufacturing solutions.

This role involves a continuous effort to enhance processes, support product development, and maintain safety and compliance standards.


Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
  • Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 1 - 2 years' of engineering experience
  • Relevant experience in a machining environment is highlydesirable.
  • Expertise in CAD and CAM software(e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), process simulation tools,and ERP systems. Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and 3D models. Understanding of G-Code and programming languages is a plus.
  • Knowledge of measurement tools and techniques for ensuring part accuracy and quality.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly,welding, molding, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other processimprovement methodologies is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work in a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety, quality, teamwork, and efficiency
  • Perform quality, maintenance, and housekeeping checks and record numerical results in various computer system programs
  • Analyze process data to make decisions on equipment maintenance and process improvement activities

  • Assist with process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodology including root cause analysis, process flow maps, etc.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Mechanical troubleshooting/maintenance experience required. Successful candidates typically have three or more years of experience in the below:
  • Proficient knowledge of precision measurements and pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to identify a problem and use analytical skills to identify the root cause and implement sustainable solutions
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures required (e.g. lock out /tag out, confined space entry, etc.)

  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds
