As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly and fabrication of critical parts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Fort Payne, AL
Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Available Shifts:
Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Monday - Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
Friday - Sunday 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Friday - Sunday 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM
What's the Job?
Collaborate with teammates in a safe, climate-controlled environment to manufacture parts for large generators
Fabricate components by following blueprints and instructions accurately
Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Operate and adjust machinery to produce precise components
Utilize hand tools for tasks such as building, forming, bending, punching, grinding, cutting, brazing, buffing, and welding
What's Needed?
2 years of consistent manufacturing experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings
Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to lift and transport parts and components safely

You can expect
working with teammates, in a safe, comfortable, climate-controlled environment,
to manufacture parts for large generators. The primary purpose of this position
is to build or make parts by creating, forming, building various materials according
to blueprints and instructions. 2nd shift Weekday Nights, Monday-Thursday 4
days/10 hour shifts 3:30PM-2AM, $1 shift differential.
**How You'llMake an Impact**
+ Inspecting parts for qualityachievement. Machine operation, including setup, adjustments. Use handtools for building, forming, bending, punching, grinding, cutting,brazing, buffing, and welding
+ Use testing, electrical andmeasurement equipment. Lifting and loading parts and components totransport to various areas or machines
+ Use various solutions to apply toparts according to instructions
+ Use of appliances, such as ovens tobake and cure parts
+ Read blueprints, drawings,engineering specifications, and work package information to determineoperations required
+ Assembly and installation of partsaccording to instruction. Participate with all to keep the plant safe,organized, and clean, including cleaning your area daily
**What YouBring**
+ Experience level is earlyprofessional, manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
+ Education level of high schooldiploma or equivalent is required.
+ Must be able to read, write, andcomprehend English language to understand instructions and other writingson the job description, follow warnings, safety and quality signage aswell as writing communication when required on work instructions orsharing to team. Moderate Computer Skills
+ Must have good dexterity to useyour hands in a skillful and coordinated way to work with parts. May berequired to take Work Keys assessment, requiring a minimum score orbetter.
+ Close attention to detail isrequired to avoid assembly and quality errors and checks.
+ Frequent mental and visualattention, where the flow of work is intermittent, or the operationinvolves waiting for the next process. Good judgment and comprehension toplan, perform, follow written and verbal instructions and make decisionsas to the building, quality inspection, manipulating and the counting ofparts, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized orstandard methods and procedures.
