**What you'll do.**
In this key role, you will provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program - from initial concept through final assembly. This will involve the application of lean manufacturing principles to ensure the highest quality, most efficient processes and products possible. You will:
+ Provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program, beginning at initial concept through launch at the final assembly facility.
+ Development of tooling and facilities based on product and process.
+ Apply lean manufacturing principles.
+ Lead virtual manufacturing assembly builds.
+ Drive resolution of manufacturing issues.
+ Interface with Design and Release activities.
+ Develop formal assembly process instructions and enter the process sheets into VPS system.
+ Lead assembly tooling specification purchase, installation, start-up, and commissioning at the assembly site.
+ Track all open tooling and process issues and drive to closure including meeting all exit criteria deliverables - cycle time, throughput, workstation readiness, etc.
+ Prepare management presentations.
+ Drive quality, cost and labor improvements.
+ Support new model launches. During launches, the position will require extensive travel, standing, and walking in a plant environment.
+ Deliver dimensionally in-spec parts for their respective system. Understand component data and a system impact.
+ Deliver cycle line layouts and work with the assembly plants to have a complete operator/equipment workstation ready for launch.
+ Operate in stressful situations within timing constraints
+ Work with minimal direct supervision
**You'll have.**
+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical or an equivalent manufacturing engineering
+ Willingness to travel and support launch activities at our North American Assembly plants (USA, Canada & Mexico)
+ Travel is required including co-location at a North American Assembly plant for 9 or more months depending on scale of vehicle launch.
+ 1 or more years of Microsoft Office experience to include Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Up to 40-50% travel required

SUMMARY
The Test Engineering Technician plays a critical hands-on role in supporting the final stages of server rack integration and functional validation. Works closely with Test Engineers, Operations, and Debug teams to configure, execute, and troubleshoot test processes to ensure product reliability and validation post-assembly. The role is deeply technical and requires expertise across hardware diagnostics, Linux-based systems, networking infrastructure (routers, switches, fiber optics, etc.), and scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
Technicians will actively contribute to assembly, integration, and validation of cutting-edge server platforms, leveraging their knowledge to resolve complex failures, configure networking hardware, optimize test processes, and increase first pass yield and throughput. This role provides high visibility across cross-functional teams and is foundational for those seeking to advance within Jabil’s Test Engineering organization.
Test Engineering Technicians are required to work on-site in support of Jabil's production facilities located in Florence, KY (just north of CVG International Airport). Applicants who live outside of a 50-mile radius will be eligible to receive relocation assistance services.
SHIFT / SCHEDULE
Test Engineering Technicians are required to work 12-hour shifts on one of the following schedules (we are hiring for multiple vacancies - across all 4 shifts):

401 Shift: (days) 6:00AM to 6:00PM - Sunday through Tuesday, and Sunday through Wednesday every other week.

402 Shift: (nights) 6:00PM to 6:00AM - Sunday through Tuesday, and Sunday through Wednesday every other week.

403 Shift: (days) 6:00AM to 6:00PM - Thursday through Saturday, and Wednesday through Saturday every other week.

404 Shift: (nights) 6:00PM to 6:00AM - Thursday through Saturday, and Wednesday through Saturday every other week.

For example: if hired to support the 401 shift, engineers will be required to work 36 hours throughout week 1 (Sunday - Tuesday), 48 hours through week 2 (Sunday - Wednesday), 36 hours week 3 (Sunday - Tuesday), etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline. A combination of equivalent relevant work experience and training may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Minimum 12-months experience as a Diagnostic Technician with Jabil (strongly preferred).

Proficient in Linux (CLI, SSH, log files) with demonstrated experience in running and modifying test scripts.

Hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript in the context of hardware validation, test automation, and log analysis.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VLANs, IP addressing, port validation) and configuring managed switches; familiarity with fiber optics, transceivers, WAN/LAN, and network troubleshooting.

Strong technical knowledge of hardware infrastructure and related components (CPU, GPU, DIMM, NIC, BMC, PCIe).

Skilled in diagnostic testing protocols, failure analysis techniques, and working within a highly ambiguous and multi-cultural manufacturing environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute test processes and troubleshoot system-level and component-level failures for server rack platforms in a manufacturing environment.

Configure and maintain networking switches (VLANs, static IP assignments, port validation) critical to test infrastructure functionality.

Perform diagnostics using Linux CLI tools and interpret log files to isolate hardware or software faults.

Run, interpret, and modify Python and JavaScript-based automation scripts for hardware validation and reporting as needed.

Diagnose system-level failures including POST/BIOS issues, BMC health status, PCIe link integrity, and hardware enumeration failures.

Support functional burn-in testing, thermal and stress testing, and environmental qualification processes.

Build, maintain, and troubleshoot test fixtures, testers, and related hardware systems.

Perform root cause analysis on recurring failures, escalating complex issues to Test Engineering as needed.

Document detailed failure analysis and contribute to corrective action recommendations and continuous improvement efforts.

Assist with preventative maintenance programs for testing infrastructure, ensuring calibration and reliability.

Provide training and technical guidance to junior technicians and cross-functional partners.

**Responsibilities**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead and support L10 manufacturing activities, including integration and test of rack-level CPU/GPU servers
+ Develop and implement assembly and test procedures for L10 manufacturing, ensuring compliance with quality, reliability, and regulatory standards
+ Collaborate with Design, NPI, and Manufacturing teams to review product designs for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT)
+ Identify and resolve issues encountered during server build and test phases, performing root cause analyses as needed
+ Drive continuous improvements in manufacturing and test yields, throughput, and process efficiency
+ Oversee test fixture design, deployment, and maintenance for rack-level server validation
+ Assist in developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, test logs, and failure reports
+ Serve as the technical interface for external manufacturing partners and internal engineering teams
+ Monitor manufacturing KPIs and provide regular updates and recommendations to stakeholders

As part of our Manufacturing Engineering Project team, the primary function of this position will be to drive the development and execution of corporate strategy and innovation capital projects for Keurig Dr Pepper manufacturing locations. This position will build and manage relationships of internal and external resources to effectively implement project initiatives that drive productivity results, optimize value, and promote growth. This individual will also have experience in developing and executing capital projects in a manufacturing environment. A candidate with Food and Beverage or CPG (Consumer Package Goods) and plant production line experience is considered a plus. Knowledge of high-speed filling, packaging technologies are ideal areas of expertise. PMP Certified, lean methodologies, TPM, and knowledge of key standard work processes are also essential qualities.

Technical Services:
+ Collaborate and drive network and plant strategies for capacity growth, productivity, and innovation
+ Approval of equipment design, development, and execution
