POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is open due to an upcoming retirement! The Manufacturing Buyer will create and process purchase orders to provide purchased materials and components, tooling and services to the machining, production and assembly groups of Entrust Manufacturing Technologies, Inc.'s Unisig division. This position will also identify material status and shortages and expedite material and orders to accommodate the changing sales and production schedule utilizing the ERP system. Strong attention to detail, ability to remain focused and work with accuracy, speed, and efficiency are needed to be successful in this role. An interest in mechanical products is helpful as we encourage our employees to understand what they are buying to make better decisions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*Works directly with vendors and builds positive partner relationships
*Works cross-departmentally with engineering and production planning to determine priorities and re-align delivery needs
*Purchases routine as well as complex, unique or high dollar value requirements with a focus on quality, price and timely delivery at the direction of the Procurement Supervisor
*Expedites and coordinates delivery of materials or services, communicating any supply issues which may pose a risk or impact on manufacturing, assembly or delivery deadline
*Identifies vendors based on engineering needs and research alternatives when part shortages delay delivery
*Enters, updates, and monitors documentation and systems to ensure completeness and accuracy of data

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate's degree in purchasing or supply chain, and interest in a complex manufacturing environment, plus 2 years in a precision manufacturing purchasing capacity
*Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word with ERP / MRP experience
*Excellent work ethic and the ability to work self-directed
*Preference given to candidates with manufacturing buying experience
*Organized thought process with a very high attention to detail

**Responsibilities**
+ Process capability growth to ensure future fulfillment of customer demand while developing a more simplified manufacturing process.
+ Early Defect detection, acquire and control critical x's to ensure stable outputs.
+ Lead Design of Experiments (DOE) to develop process parameters, coordinating the fabrication of parts, commissioning and operation of process and test equipment, and supporting the diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues.

Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with engineering and production support teams to enhance manufacturing methods, product design, fabrication, tooling, assembly, and quality control.
+ Justify and implement capital projects aimed at improving productivity, quality, and safety.
+ Drive continuous improvement efforts, focusing on equipment troubleshooting, procurement of tooling/fixtures, and facility supplies for production support.
+ Conduct machine risk assessments and upgrade equipment guarding.
+ Design, implement, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, CNC programming, tooling, and equipment.
+ Lead corrective action teams to identify root causes of production issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
+ Provide production guidance through hands-on floor support, develop work instructions, and resolve problems in real-time.
+ Develop and update drawings for tooling and fixtures.
+ Assist in developing, implementing, and sustaining safety programs to ensure effective risk control and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
+ Utilize lean tools to drive initiatives focusing on product flow, visual management, 6S, TPM, SMED, and productivity improvement.
+ Develop and execute key performance measures to evaluate equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance program effectiveness.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum three years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required; 5-8 years of experience overall preferred.
+ Proficiency in AutoCad and Solidworks with tooling/fixture design experience preferred.
+ Experience with problem-solving tools and root-cause analysis.
+ Analytical thinker with high accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Basic knowledge or understanding of PLCs for troubleshooting.
+ Understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing tools integration into process development.
+ Ability to read and understand technical material, engineering drawings, and industry standards.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Proficiency in MS Office and related productivity tools.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Effective time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
+ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, or 8 years of related experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Aerospace experience is a nice-to-have but not required.
+ Experience in metals manufacturing is highly preferred.
+ Experience bringing in capital equipment projects is a huge plus.
+ Working knowledge of or experience with ISO/AS9100/TS16949 is a plus.

We are seeking a Quality Control Chemist to make formula adjustments and formulate/reformulate products to meet customer needs and specifications. This role involves developing and coordinating laboratory testing and quality control activities, including the creation of certificates of analysis. The chemist is responsible for ensuring all chemicals are approved by Corporate EHS and meeting TSCA factors.
Responsibilities
+ Perform analytical testing to ensure product specifications are correct.
+ Ensure compliance with federal and local regulatory agencies and manage regulatory reporting.
+ Create and update technical documents such as safety data sheets, labels, and technical data sheets.
+ Serve as the primary emergency coordinator and act as site security manager for CFATS compliance.
+ Assist internal and external customers with technical issues.
+ Evaluate performance of chemical processes and physical operations.
+ Maintain chemical and raw material inventory.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Chemistry and Quality Control.
+ Experience in formulation adjustments and working with production to ensure batches are correct.
+ Ability to perform basic analytical testing and maintain quality and regulatory documentation.
+ Knowledge of titrations, viscosity, specific gravity, ISO standards, and documentation control.
