**The Job You Will Perform:**
The Manufacturing Associate performs a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment
The Manufacturing Associate must follow all safety rules and procedures; watch out for self and team member's safety at all times. Always follow lock out and tag out, MSK, and always use personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toed shoes & safety vest, others as required). Must understand and carry out housekeeping standards. Must demonstrate teamwork and resolve issues effectively and professionally. Must be capable of running machine at safe speeds and top quality to meet customer needs.
**Primary Manufacturing Associate duties/responsibilities include:**
+ following all safety rules and practices;
+ reading factory work orders, print cards, and other documents to learn customer requirements;
+ identifying stock and products that correspond to work orders;
+ performing assigned duties to insure that production needs are met;
+ assisting other associates as needed;
+ accurately using tape measures and other measurement and test equipment;
+ inspecting, counting, stacking, and unitizing products according to customer specifications;
+ identifying and segregating nonconforming (reject) products and materials;
+ accurately completing time sheets, reports, lists, and other records;
+ keeping the supervisor informed of any problems and/or unusual situations;
+ maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping;

Constant standing, walking, and reaching at or below shoulder level; frequent twisting, bending, and lifting from the ground; repetitive lifting up to 35 pounds. Must be willing and able to work daily and weekly overtime, including weekends, as business conditions require.
