What You'll Do
+ Ensure manufacturing sequences and product builds meet safety and quality standards
+ Design and arrange tooling, machines, and factory layouts to improve efficiency
+ Collaborate with design engineers to enhance producibility and reduce build times
+ Apply robotics, automation, and digital manufacturing solutions to upgrade processes
+ Influence engineering designs through line balancing and spec reviews
+ Lead and participate in tool design reviews to reduce program costs
+ Use data analytics and SPC to improve productivity, First Pass Yield (FPY), and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
+ Drive problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
+ Contribute to PFMEA and control plan development
+ Create and maintain manufacturing documentation (routings, BOMs, visual aids, standard work)
What You Bring
+ Experience with SAP and assembly operations
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
+ Familiarity with adapting equipment design to production conditions
+ Strong communication skills and ability to follow work instructions
+ Background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
+ Proficiency in MS Office and manufacturing software tools
+ Basic understanding of robotics, automation, Six Sigma, and project management

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage multiple small to large consulting, environmental compliance, design, and design-build Chemical and manufacturing facilities projects for multiple major clients in the domestic United States. This position is part of our Industrial Division, which serves Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Food & Beverage. Metals & Mining, Utility, Manufacturing and other industrial clients. As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM's mission by:
- Managing multiple large complex engineering projects concurrently within the Chemicals, Petrochemicals, and Downstream Oil and Gas sectors from early concept development through detailed design and construction
- Serving as a mentor and leader of multi-discipline project teams
- Performing technical problem solving
- Leading and managing multi-discipline teams
- Performing guidance and review at the project level while assuring discipline and quality standards are adhered to
- Leading proposal teams and developing project approaches that lead to project wins

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelor's Degree. 10 years of related experience. PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list). Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience managing facilities infrastructure and/or environmental projects for chemicals or manufacturing clients
- Proven experience managing preparation of engineering design packages for construction

+ Select and test fuel/additive products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and/or chemical characteristics.
+ Record test data, following statistical quality control procedures.
+ Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
+ Perform the duties of a fueler or fuel farm attendant as needed.
