Join our dynamic team at the Windsor Production facility, where we're looking to welcome new Production Team Members for a 12-hour evening/day shifts. This role offers the unique chance to collaborate in the creation of wind turbine blades, crafting them from fiberglass and other materials. You'll play a pivotal role in energizing homes across the US by bringing these monumental products to life.
The Blades Factory in Windsor produces blades for the new V163-4.5 MW turbine as well as the 2 MW platform in our 666,000 square feet of building space on 161 acres of land. The components manufactured at our Windsor factory are used primarily in Turbines in North America, as well as being exported to Mexico, Urguay, Brazil, and Europe.
**What does a Production Team Member do?**
+ Efficiently operates manufacturing equipment with a strong commitment to safety protocols
+ Adheres to Process Work Instructions and engages in manual production processing to accurately fit and assemble components, such as bolts, screws, shafts, or bearings into a complete assembly.
+ Exceed our production benchmarks by completing specific tasks within the designated timeframe, playing a key role in the collective success of our team objectives.
+ Lift, position, and/or remove material from work areas.
+ Load, stack and transport materials by hand, truck, crane or jib
+ Read and comprehend Work Process Instructions and translate that into the ability to perform the tasks.
+ As well as any ad hoc duties that may be assigned.
***Please be aware that our work environment involves the use of latex, epoxy, and fiberglass, including fiberglass dust***
**What skills/abilities must I have to qualify?**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
+ Two years of experience of either Manufacturing, Trade Labor, Craning, or Fabrication experience is required
+ Must be able to communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
+ Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
+ Basic system skills-Microsoft office, SAP and Apriso preferred.
+ Must pass confined spaces test as required.
+ Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test as required.

The Manufacturing Engineer will evaluate manufacturing processes to increase production and make processes more efficient while reducing manufacturing costs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Owns entire process of the wire bonding program from start to finish across three tools, maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting
o This includes production wire bonding when applicable
- Assists with line capacity planning and is responsible for yield improvements in collaboration with management and inputs from engineering sections globally
- Follows up on daily production issues, leads the team to increase yield, improving product quality and manufacturing cost reductions
- Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements
- Using feedback from product quality provides corrective action and monitors implementation
- Drives continuous improvement projects to elevate product performance in manufacturing
- Ensures wire bonding equipment maintenance and repair
- Takes total ownership of documentation and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

- Analyzes work content for distribution to work centers and capacity requirements
- Recommends and prepares process improvements which will facilitate manufacturing excellence
- Assists product design teams to drive designs that meet all cost and quality goals
o Reviews product requirements with design staff to ensure compatibility with processing methods
o Performs Design for Manufacturability analysis on new products
- Shares tactical level input to operators on manufacturability, training of and introduction to process improvements related to build and need
- Responsible for dissemination of training to team members
o Communicates as a team member, delivering process instructions across multiple, global BUs

-5-10 years of electronics Manufacturing Engineering experience (preferably in semiconductor, automotive, or microelectronics)
-Bachelor's degree required
-Strong program management of Wire Bonding (for Integrated Power Electronics Modules/IPEM) in electronics, semi, or automotive industries
-Understanding of how wire bonding tools work and how to repair them (bond head changes, rethreads, troubleshooting)
-Experience working with solder alloys, adhesives and encapsulants, and aluminum wire
-Comfortable working with various manufacturing and electronics tools: vacuum reflow ovens, wire bonders, solder printers, and EFDs
-Experience with line capacity planning (match a value stream, cost analysis, revenue benefit, design for manufacturability)
-Experience with continuous improvement, process improvement, and ECOs (Engineering Change Orders)
-Ability to own multiple, but smaller scale design of experiments (DOEs)
-Proficient in 8 disciplines of problem solving (8D) analysis
-Strong SolidWorks experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, safety and cost efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare engineered solution documents and presentations, including engineering drawings, CAD models, project proposals and product literature
- Design and optimize tooling, fixtures, and work instructions for production operations, while implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Reverse-engineering of products to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, processes and equipment
- Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning to balance workloads, and develop and maintain corresponding SOP’s and process documentation
- Train and support operators, technicians and production associates in best practices to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors to confirm product specifications, verify drawings, validate product quality and maintain effective production standards
- Assist with quoting special projects and provide technical product expertise, calculations and support to customers and sales team
- Lead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and reliability
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar) and ERP/MRP systems
- Solid working knowledge of machining, assembly, automation and other manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or similar)
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) implementation experience
- Experience with bearings and mechanical power transmission products

+ Summary: Leads the ATS maintenance and/or materials services delivery team at the site level by serving employees and customers with a leadership mindset that values employees and engages customers. In your internship, you will have the opportunity to have an in-depth exposure to our Brewery and/or Manufacturing Operations and obtain relevant experiences right from the start. The internship takes place over the course of 10-weeks; however, we are flexible to adjust as necessary based on the external environment and business need. Throughout the program, Supply Interns will gain an in-depth view of the manufacturing side of the business while experiencing either the corporate headquarters, the Supply (Brewery) or Can Plant Operations (MCC) organizations, as well as flexing creative and analytical muscles through project work.
Interns can be placed in various different areas of the Supply business; from working in our Brewing Department where they will have close ties to the process in which BEER is made, our Packaging Department to work with how the BEER is packaged in cans bottles or kegs, our Technical Operations group to work with teams on how the cans are made, or you may have the opportunity to work on our Corporate Team and help implement an initiative for process improvements across our Supply locations.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ As an intern you will be assigned project(s) that will result in process improvement and be responsible for reporting on deliverables to senior leaders of the company.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Current university student with a GPA of 3.0 or greater.
+ A background in Engineering or Science is preferred, but all majors are accepted.
+ Geographical & Functional mobility - open to experiencing different functions and locations across the U.S. for this internship.
+ Our breweries are 24/7 - 365 day a year facilities which requires alternating shift work. **Must have flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, holidays, & overtime based on business need.**
+ Must have the ability to walk up and down elevated catwalks and stairs, stand for long periods of time, and work in all environmental conditions including extreme temperatures.
+ Ability to leverage data and insights to provide effective solutions to complex problems.
