Join our high-tech manufacturing facility in Marshalltown, Iowa, where we produce large, custom-designed control valves. In this role, you will be directly responsible for upskilling our CNC machine operators and driving machining perfection through world-class training in key technical fields such as GD&T, CNC programming, cutting tools, work holding, and metrology. This is a developmental and highly visible role designed for someone who thrives in both the classroom and the shop floor.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Promote and sustain a strong culture of safety, ensuring all training programs and work instructions emphasize safe work practices and ergonomic best practices.
+ Design and deliver structured training programs focused on key machining fundamentals, including:
+ Blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
+ CNC programming (G/M code fundamentals, conversational programming)
+ Tool selection, cutting speeds & feeds, and advanced cutting tool application
+ Setup reduction, work holding systems, fixturing principles
+ Precision measuring tools and metrology standard processes
+ Shop math, including trigonometry and feed/speed calculations
+ Facilitate both classroom training and hands-on instruction on CNC lathes, mills, multi-axis equipment, and machining centers.
+ Implement Capital projects and process improvements to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and performance
+ Evaluate operator competency through skill assessments and track individual progress using learning plans, records, and digital tools.
+ Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors and process engineers to identify skill gaps using non-conformance and rework data. Build targeted training strategies that reduce scrap, improve first-pass yield, and shorten lead times.
+ Create and maintain standardized work instructions, visual work aids, and competency matrices to reinforce a consistent and repeatable machining process.
+ Support the onboarding, mentoring, and upskilling of newly hired machine trainees and interns.
+ Provide training support on capital projects, including preparing operators to run new machines, applying new tooling strategies, and follow updated machining processes.
+ Build partnerships with local trade schools, high schools, and technical institutions to develop outreach programs and diverse talent pipelines.

The Global Manufacturing CAD Designer takes charge of crafting mechanical engineering drawings, developing 3D models, and handling part numbers in system. This role supports the design of new tooling, fixtures, and facility equipment along with the improvement of existing designs, collaborating closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering team, simulation, suppliers, and site specific Manufacturing Engineering teams at various global factories.
Precision in calculations such as wall thickness, surface areas, and unit conversions (mm to inch) is important for producing accurate 2D layouts and comprehensive 3D assembly models. Additionally, the role involves data entry and maintenance tasks within the Oracle database system, supporting multi-functional operations across the organization.
This position requires excellent skills in communications, process improvement, as well as configuration of CAD Software. You will need to have strong CAD skills and understanding of the SolidWorks & PDM Pro software.

Success in this position requires a deep understanding of machining principles, toolpath strategy, and fixture design. You'll need strong communication skills and a continuous improvement approach to support productivity goals and cost reduction initiatives. Experience with EdgeCam, GibbsCam, and Siemens NX is a plus, as is the ability to solve and resolve programming or process issues in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Develop and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis CNC machines using CAM software (e.g., Edgecam, Gibbscam, Siemens NX,etc.).

The Manufacturing Engineer - Pressure Testing and Design for Manufacture provides technical consultative, tactical, and strategic global support for high pressure testing and operations. In addition, this position works closely with the engineering design teams to guide early-stage new product development to ensure alignment with the latest manufacturing strategies; collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing to coordinate a smooth manufacturing rollout of new products; and serve as a leader driving global initiatives focused on improving safety, manufacturing sustainability, efficiency, and standardization.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Develop, implement and maintain hydrostatic pressure test procedures and safety protocols to share best practices and ensure global standardization
+ Provide technical support and assist in training of personnel on hydrostatic testing equipment, procedures, and safety measures
+ Perform risk assessments to mitigate potential pressure testing-related hazards and safeguard workers
+ Conduct calculations to determine appropriate test parameters and methodologies
+ Maintain a thorough understanding of materials, system design, and testing techniques to improve test accuracy, efficiency, and safety
+ Design and develop hydrostatic pressure test tooling, fixtures, gauging, and facility equipment using 3D CAD software
+ Serve as the manufacturing representative on new product design teams to provide manufacturing input on early-stage product designs
+ Coordinate manufacturing planning and execution for new and existing products with world area and site teams through meetings and digital collaboration tools
+ Travel to global manufacturing locations as required
