**Description:** You will be a Manufacturing Engineer at Lockheed Martin's Archbald facility, which specializes in design, manufacturing, and engineering for both domestic and international customers. Our team produces electronic assemblies, machined and welded assemblies/parts, and safety-critical systems for various defense and commercial applications. **What You Will Be Doing**
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you may support the Assembly and/or Fabrication areas depending on the project or assignment. Your duties will include:
- Interfacing with design, manufacturing, test, quality, and other internal/external stakeholders as the product(s) move from planning to release, completion, and distribution
- Using SAP, dPLM, and other applications & tools to analyze and develop sequence of operations, work-instructions, procedures, and production record systems including inspection and test
- Assisting in the identification, procurement, and implementation of equipment, machinery, tools/fixtures, and material handling systems
- Establishing methods for maximum utilization of the production facilities and personnel utilizing lean six sigma concepts to improve work-flow efficiencies throughout production and the facility
- Using 2D/3D modeling tools to assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of manufacturing cells & layouts throughout the facility
- Using business process applications and tools to analyze data to improve productivity including reducing cost, improving inventory accuracy and improving first pass quality to achieve on-time schedules
- Investigating issues, gathering data, and initiating corrective actions and then presenting solutions to teams and leaders within the organization
- Assisting in establishing hazard prevention measures including personnel training programs for all phases of production operations including safety and ergonomics

**Basic Qualifications:**
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Eng, Manufacturing Eng, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, or other Engineering related discipline from an accredited college with 2+ years of professional experience.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen.

Demonstrated use of 2D and 3D modeling programs such as Auto-CAD and CREO to design tooling/fixturing.
Ability to learn and program a variety of production support equipment.

**Description:** You will be a Manufacturing Engineer Associate Manager, providing oversight and leadership of the Manufacturing Engineering team supporting the Assembly area at our Archbald, PA facility. Our team specializes in designing, manufacturing, and engineering electronic assemblies, machined and welded assemblies/parts, and safety-critical systems for various defense and commercial applications.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As a Manufacturing Engineer Associate Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervision of all direct reports including career development, employee engagement, time approval, recruiting, staffing, and yearly reviews
- Assisting in establishing hazard prevention measures including personnel training programs for all phases of production operations including safety and ergonomics
- Being the Assembly SME with an in-depth knowledge of associated production processes including but not limited to electro-mechanical assembly, cable/harness, and special processes to work quickly and efficiently in resolving issues
- Establishing methods for maximum utilization of the production facilities, equipment, and personnel utilizing lean six sigma concepts to improve capacity and work-flow efficiencies throughout production
- Ensuring router/mBOM development, work instructions, tooling/fixturing, and area layout changes are completed on-time to prevent late starts and achieve targeted requirements for cost, schedule, & quality
- Maintain a technical roadmap/functional excellence plan that identifies emerging technologies to improve work efficiencies, performance, and affordability including supporting the planning, purchase, & coordinating of capital equipment
- Engaging other LM sites to develop common processes and best practices to strengthen our partnerships to achieve 1LMX mission success
- Lead the team in providing proposal basis of estimates for both non-recurring & recurring tasks and providing thorough rationale for achieving performance targets
- Overseeing Manufacturing Engineering functional processes such as machine programming, preventive maintenance, tool orders, the Build-to-Print process, MPP redline process, etc. as established by both local and Command Media procedures.
- Brief functional management, project management, senior leaders, and customers as required on process technology, product issue resolution, personnel development plans and status, organization issues/progress, etc.

You will be a Manufacturing Planner Associate for our Operations team in Archbald, PA. Our team is responsible for planning and executing manufacturing operations to deliver high-quality products on time.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Planner Associate, your responsibilities may include:
- Execute Make, Buy, and Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities to support production schedules and material flow
- Collaborate with various manufacturing functions, including Operations Management, Supply Chain Stakeholders, and Engineering to optimize production plans and capacity requirements
- Perform planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and maintain production system integrity, drive inventory optimization and minimize cost. This includes maintaining MRP parameters, including lead times and lot sizes, and coordinating with Engineering to update BOMs appropriately
- Coordinate with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control and execute production plans
- Analyze and control production schedules and capacity requirements to meet customer demands
- Expedite and prioritize workflow through the supply chain to ensure on-time delivery of products
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Stakeholders to determine time-phased plans for procured parts
