Leidos' Defense Systems Manufacturing Sector is seeking a **Manufacturing Engineer** to join our Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) Team located at our Platform Integration Facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be overseeing and optimizing the production process, from raw materials to finished products, to ensure efficiency and quality. The type of material is expected to be electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical. This position will require frequent coordination with Planning & Production Control, Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers at other sites, and Operations Leads to ensure that mBOMs are up to date, lead times are documented, and work order instructions will be available when needed and that proper documentation is in place for floor operations.

**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Managing Manufacturing Orders to meet project schedules.
+ Implementing procedures & techniques to transform raw materials into finished products efficiently and effectively.
+ Use of MES software (Solumina) to implement, track, monitor, and control manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance.
+ Generation and maintenance of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOMS).
+ Generate routings inside Solumina to account for accurate run times.
+ Identify and execute on continuous improvement projects.
+ Identify and reduce risks in the production processes.
+ Plan and maintain production flow through MRP system, including change management and make/buy designation.
+ Responsible for executing Configuration & Data Management processes & controls for managing & tracking changes.
+ Defines manufacturing processes, procedures and production flow for assembly, integration & test of space products.
+ Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple projects. Organize and schedule production activities, and resources; including materials, equipment, and personnel, to meet production goals.to meet production targets.
+ Resolve problems related to production jobs such as configuration changes, engineering changes, material issues, schedule priority, etc.
+ Monitor production status of jobs to ensure they meet schedule requirements & report job status to management using spreadsheets, custom reports, etc.
+ Overseeing & optimizing the production process, from raw materials to finished products, to ensure efficiency and quality.
+ Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations Leads, and Inventory Control.
+ Expedite jobs as required & clearing any material Shortages.
+ Manage ISO9001/AS9100 processes within our department.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial engineering or Industrial and Systems Engineering with at least 8 relevant experience or a Master's Degree with at least 6 years prior relevant experience in an engineering field.
+ Must be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
+ Six or more years of experience with Manufacturing, Assembly & Integration experience with electrical, electromechanical, structural, and/or mechanical components.
+ Experience with utilizing MRP and experience with ERP/PLM/MES systems.
+ Proficient understanding of GD&T.
+ Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
+ Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience with test operations including set-up calibration & operation of GSE used in the production process.
+ Experience with manufacturing, assembly, integration & test processes, procedure development & implementation.
+ Hands-on experience with electronics and/or structural assembly processes and equipment including some of these: soldering, mechanical assembly, epoxy dispensing and curing, conformal coating, thermal interface material dispense/application, Automated Optical Inspection, component/assembly test, etc.
+ Experience in project scheduling, Agile or Windchill configuration management & Solumina MES software.
+ 6 Sigma and Lean experience for solid RCA capabilities.
+ Experience in data analytics and data querying.
+ PFMEA's, Capability studies, Gauge R&R.
+ Deltek, Costpoint ERP & MRP, Solumina, Windchill.
+ Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 processes.
+ Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

- Serves as the primary quality control authority for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.
- Manages quality control personnel on a day-to-day basis.
- Previous experience managing Quality Engineers
- Plan quality control staffing needs based on product manufacturing requirements, and delegate activities to Quality Engineer, Technician, and Inspector staff.

- Reports to Sr. Quality Management on quality issues, trends, and losses.
- Participates in internal and external quality audits.
- Collaborates with DCMA and other government and/or customer quality assurance organizations
- Interfaces with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality control and assure that effective corrective action is implemented.
- All other reasonable duties, as assigned.
**Basic Qualifications**
- Candidate must havea Bachelors degree with 5+ years of prior relevant work experience of a Masters degree with 3+ years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a HS diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in a QA/QC systems implementation or management in a manufacturing/production based environment will be considered
- Strong problem-solving skills

International is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our Powertrain Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, AL!
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and support the production of International's recently launched T14 transmission. In this position, you will work directly with R&D, Quality, and production on improving current manufacturing processes and ensure the systems are building the product to the correct specifications.
The Huntsville facility runs a 4x10 production schedule (Mon-Thurs, 6:30AM - 5:00PM). This role will support production and may need to cover production recovery times including Fridays and weekends as needed.

Leidos is seeking a **Manufacturing Program Integrator** to join our Platform Integration team located in Huntsville, Alabama. The position will perform a key function serving as the primary integration point between the Persistent Surveillance Program and the Leidos Defense Sector Manufacturing Team. This role will integrate manufacturing activities across multiple sites to ensure appropriate planning, organizing, and efficient execution of manufacturing and testing scope for the ALPS program. **Primary Responsibilities**
+ Perform as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for the manufacturing and test content.
+ Partner with Program Leadership in support of proposal and capture efforts of potential opportunities.
+ Partner with Program Leadership to identify manufacturing and testing content in the program and coordinate make/buy decision making with Manufacturing functional team.
+ Coordinate manufacturing-related budgets/costs with Program finance and Manufacturing finance to ensure successful execution and appropriate capacity planning.
+ Coordinate hand-offs with site-specific CAMs on manufacturing content and establish recurring reviews to status cost/schedule/technical performance across the manufacturing sites.
+ Partner with Manufacturing site and functional leadership to develop Basis of Estimates for total manufacturing and testing work scope.
+ Partner with Manufacturing site and functional leadership to drive cost and schedule performance in support of Program objectives using KPI's and Metrics.
+ Provide variance analysis, rationale, and corrective action plans as required by the Programs and/or Manufacturing.
+ Provide manufacturing and testing related inputs to Program leadership in support of recurring program reviews.
+ Lead/develop elements of the manufacturing plan, as required.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline with at least 8 or more years of experience in manufacturing management with an in-depth understanding of cost and schedule management techniques for such projects.
+ Eight years of project leadership, or personnel management in a manufacturing program/project environment.
+ Demonstrated experience as a Cost Account Manager on a complex hardware production program.
+ Experience coordinating and organizing activities between a Program organization and an executing organization such as manufacturing.
+ Demonstrated experience in applying EVMS and reporting on complex projects using earned value KPIs.
+ Manufacturing experience in one or more of the following areas - electronics, machining/welding, or complex system integration and test.
+ Experience creating and providing recurring briefings to leadership stakeholders on program/product status.
+ Experience with a program start-up, plant optimization and/or plant operations.
+ Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management for Defense, Aerospace or Commercial projects.
+ Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering training and applicable experience.
+ MBA or advanced technical degree.
+ Experience with AS9100 and DCMA standards.
+ Experience conducting Manufacturing Risk and Readiness Assessments.
+ Familiarity with the DoD Manufacturing Readiness Levels.
+ Experience with Costpoint MRP.
+ Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems.
+ Experience leading a cross-functional team with emphasis on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Manufacturing.
+ Experience planning hardware product realization efforts.
+ Program/Project Management experience. PMP/PMI Certification a plus.
