Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Manager position reports to ABEC's COO. This position is to maintain on-time deliveries, high quality, and improve production efficiencies through comprehensive resource planning, lean manufacturing techniques, and disciplined production processes. Achieve low-cost producer status while maintaining total customer satisfaction. Work with product development teams to ensure optimal integration of product and production processes. Create and maintain a work environment consistent with long-term employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manages production flow including but not limited to adjusting staffing and equipment to ensure production starts and stays on schedule.
- Manages all production activities performed by all manufacturing personnel while maintaining a high degree of visibility and access to staff throughout shifts.
- Continuously evaluates manufacturing operations to determine improvements through effective metrics, capital, personnel, and operational standards.
- Identifies and drives continuous improvement (CI) in all that is done.
- Coordinates with Quality Control to maintain quality standard while taking appropriate corrective action measures to resolve deficiencies.
- Takes an active role in people development. Including but limited to the development of next line leadership.
- Enforces all safety policies and ensures all manufacturing staff attends required safety training. Investigates accidents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Resolves production related issues with representatives from other departments throughout the company.
- Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures employees conform to organizational policies and procedures while meeting state and federal employment and safety guidelines.
- Maintains knowledge of manufacturing equipment and machinery along with its capacity to meet production needs.
- Proactively identifies any potential barriers and proposes solutions without impeding production.
- Establish departmental goals and objectives with strategic planning.
- Actively drives Continuous Improvement strategies and opportunities through empowering the team to take an active role in participation of CI opportunities.
- Directly supervises employees within manufacturing department.
- Carries out management and supervisory tasks in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable federal and state laws.
- Responsible for all interviewing, hiring, and training of employees. Not limited to planning, assigning, and directing manufacturing tasks; appraises performance, rewards and holds employees accountable. Resolves issues within manufacturing area to ensure all employees work as a team.
- Addresses all complaints or questions specific to manufacturing processes and personnel along with proposing any viable solutions.
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned.
- Ability to travel when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required - technical degree preferred.
- 3-5 years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience with capacity planning, from a people and equipment perspective.
- Able to train and motivate employees to create quality product, increase KPI's and growth the profitability of this plant.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with professional presentation and negotiation skills.
- Must be flexible, innovative and comfortable in setting own priorities.
- Polished presentation, business acumen and facilitation skills.
- Good understanding of lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong organization, time management, and planning skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50lb.
- Fluent written and spoken English.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00/yr.
In addition to the above, you have the opportunity to participate in 401(k) retirement plan. Contributes an amount equal to 4% of your total eligible pay to your 401(k) plan, regardless of whether you participate. If you contribute to the plan, will also match 100% of the first 4% of total eligible pay that you contribute. Will automatically enroll you in the plan at 4% of pay which will be deducted and contributed toward the plan unless you decline or make another election. You will receive a welcome package from the 401(k) vendor soon after joining. Your pay and contributions are subject to plan and IRS limits as outlined in the Summary Plan Description.

+ Respond to daily, monthly and annual metrics to work with the local Value Stream Manager to analyze effectiveness and recommend improvements to present machinery operations, tool designs, production methods and machine control to improve process capability. + Identify and solve problems in the value stream by collaborating with cross functional groups to investigate Safety and Quality issues. + Capital Expense: Lead the execution implementation of capital expense projects from quote to IQOQPQ with minimal guidance. Participate in annual budgeting process and execute emergency capital expense.
+ Create documentation to facilitate implementation of automated processes, commercialized incremental and new product and new equipment during the transition to production with guidance. This work may collaborate with Developmental Engineering and the Automation Group. Be able to lead automation projects and or recommend areas for automation in the value stream.
+ Lead initiatives to improve total preventative maintenance, ensuring critical equipment is understood and the risk of unplanned downtime is minimized or mitigated.
+ Maintain an increased awareness of customer and industry technical requirements and basic business acumen regarding the business impact of technical decisions. This includes the strategies of the local and global Enterprise Value Stream. Work cross functionally with on-site groups as well as global elements of the value stream including Developmental Engineering. In depth knowledge of the materials and the equipment in the value stream including new product development is expected.
+ Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
+ Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations of the industry served by the value stream. Be a role model in demonstrating compliance and exhibiting and rewarding behaviors that comply with SQDC metrics.
+ Continue to develop professional skills in Continuous Improvement including Lean Practitioner and/or Lean Six Sigma Programs and value stream events. LSS Green Belt and or some level of Lean Practitioner training is desired in this role.

The Manufacturing Team Leader will manage and lead a team of employees by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to the team. They will motivate team members, assess performance and provide help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance.

- Participates in the assembly and fabrication of mechanical parts, pieces, or products accurately and with proper procedures in a timely manner, using a variety or tools and equipment according to required specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in customized manufacturing process.
- Knowledge of all types of hand tools, fabricating equipment, measuring devices.
- Participates in Installations at customer sites.
- Oversees Team Members during the shift to assure compliance with all safety policies, quality practices & productivity expectations applicable to the work being performed.
- Provides real-time guidance to Team Members to address any issues affecting completion of planned work assignments (technical, procedural, material-related, etc.).
- Immediately addresses any employee behavioral issues that conflict with company policy or may be counter-productive to established goals for the shift.
- Reports project needs, material requirements, and any planning & scheduling issues that are affecting planned work activities to Supervisor/Manager to assure manpower resources can be utilized in the most effective and efficient manner.

The Tyndale Company is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our Manufacturing department! The Manager is responsible for the end-to-end oversight of external manufacturing partners that produce Tyndale garments. This role ensures seamless production execution across multiple factory partners by managing capacity planning, factory performance KPI's and operational workflows. This includes accurately maintaining inventory of components and trims as well as assuring data integrity across internal and external systems.
HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 2 days per week, and 3 days per week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our distribution center in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County).

Responsibilities
Factory Management & Sourcing
* Manage the daily operation of manufacturing partners to ensure the successful On Time and Full (OTIF) delivery of Tyndale garments in line with forecasted volumes.
* Manage relationships with existing garment manufacturing factories to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective production.
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard new factory partners in alignment with company growth and compliance standards.
* Monitor and manage factory capacities to ensure efficient allocation of production volume across facilities and in line with Supply Chain Planning forecasts.
* Conduct performance evaluations and enforce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, defect rates, and communication responsiveness.
Component/Trim Inventory & Planning
* Oversee and manage trim inventories at both internal warehouses and factory locations.
* Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain Planning teams to ensure component and trim availability aligns with production schedules.
* Monitor consumption and initiate replenishment plans to prevent shortages or overages.
Production Planning & System Management
* Oversee the internal system processing related to production, including product build setup, bill of materials (BOM), work order creation, and transfer orders.
* Ensure data accuracy and timeliness within the ERP or production planning systems to support reliable reporting and operational flow.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments including Product Development, Logistics, and IT to support efficient production lifecycles.
Operational Oversight
* Act as the central point of coordination for all outsourced manufacturing operations.
* Proactively resolve supply chain challenges, production delays, material shortages, or communication gaps with factories.
* Prepare reports on vendor performance, production milestones, and material inventory.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Apparel Production, Supply Chain Management, the Sciences or related field.
* 2 years of people management/leadership experience required.
* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, vendor management or large-scale distribution networks.
* Strong preference for apparel industry and/or third-party manufacturing experience.
* Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
* Experience with international and domestic experience strong preferred.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop models to derive real-time key manufacturing metrics, such as yield, throughput, WIP stock, and cycle time. Sources of complex real-world data include both in-house databases and commercial enterprise platforms, such manufacturing execution system (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
- Build automated reports on commercial platforms such as Microsoft Power BI and JMP Live.
- Conduct on-demand data analysis and visualization to fulfill dynamic business needs.
- A bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, software engineering, physics, materials science, mathematics, or similar STEM field.
- 5 years' experience in data analytics in semiconductor, materials, or a related industry; or demonstratable equivalent abilities.
- Candidates with a moderately lesser experience may apply, who will be considered for a commensurately junior position.
- Modelling and analysis of complex and imperfect real-world data.
- Data visualization in Power BI, Tableau, or a similar platform.
- Functional knowledge of common data sources, such as SQL databases and Apache Parquet.
- Sound understanding of fundamental concepts in statistics.
- Ability to learn new concepts and skills fast.
- Knowledge in manufacturing, materials science, or natural sciences would be a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

About the Role
We're seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage the daily IT operations for our Quality Manufacturing business unit. Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology, you will play a critical role in ensuring a reliable and effective computing environment while identifying opportunities for process innovation and digital transformation.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role that offers the opportunity to build and maintain world-class IT systems in a regulated manufacturing environment, all while working closely with cross-functional teams to drive excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute the technology vision for the Quality Manufacturing business unit in alignment with corporate IT strategy.
- Manage IT systems lifecycle: design, develop, install, document, validate, and maintain.
- Create and manage project plans, deployment timelines, and resource allocation.
- Lead Computerized Systems Validation (CSV) initiatives in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for IT systems used in Quality and Manufacturing operations.
- Develop and maintain all system documentation, SOPs, change/version control, and license compliance programs.
- Oversee the procurement and deployment of hardware/software and manage vendor relationships.
- Provide technical training and day-to-day IT support for business unit staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or related field).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows Client/Server).
- Proven track record in successfully implementing and managing technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments and with vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
