STS Technical Services is hiring a Manufacturing Buyer Planner to join a growing team in Bridgeport, West Virginia . This role is ideal for professionals with experience in supply chain coordination, production planning, and procurement who are ready to support high-stakes operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Position Summary:As a Manufacturing Buyer Planner, you will be responsible for material planning, procurement, and supply chain coordination to support aerospace production and maintenance programs. This is a cross-functional role that demands attention to detail, vendor management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement of raw materials and components
- Manage outside processing vendors and ensure on-time delivery of outsourced services
- Support production planning processes using MRP systems
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while preventing material shortages
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA (MM and/or PP modules) for all planning and procurement functions
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and internal teams to ensure material readiness for scheduled production
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement and planning processes
- Track and report supply chain KPIs and resolve any disruptions proactively
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives supporting plant operations and business goals
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a material, parts, or manufacturing environment in a Buyer, Planner, or Supply Chain role
- Minimum 2 years of experience in planning and/or procurement
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (MM and/or PP modules) required
- EmpowerMX Material Management module experience is a plus
- Knowledge of the aerospace or aviation industry is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in raw material procurement, production planning, MRP, and inventory control
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a multi-project environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, sales, and internal teams
- Experience with continuous improvement programs is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Capable of representing the department in cross-functional settings

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage multiple small to large consulting, environmental compliance, design, and design-build Chemical and manufacturing facilities projects for multiple major clients in the domestic United States. This position is part of our Industrial Division, which serves Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Food & Beverage. Metals & Mining, Utility, Manufacturing and other industrial clients. As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM's mission by:
- Managing multiple large complex engineering projects concurrently within the Chemicals, Petrochemicals, and Downstream Oil and Gas sectors from early concept development through detailed design and construction
- Serving as a mentor and leader of multi-discipline project teams
- Performing technical problem solving
- Leading and managing multi-discipline teams
- Performing guidance and review at the project level while assuring discipline and quality standards are adhered to
- Leading proposal teams and developing project approaches that lead to project wins
- Applying experience and innovation to solve problems of high complexity in area of expertise
- Effectively working with lead practitioners, quality managers, and key technical specialists
- Preparing and monitoring project budgets and schedules in conjunction with assisting in negotiation of contracts and amendments

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelor's Degree. 10 years of related experience. PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list). Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience managing facilities infrastructure and/or environmental projects for chemicals or manufacturing clients
- Proven experience managing preparation of engineering design packages for construction
- Experience managing project scope, schedule, and budgets
- Exemplary skills in communicating project findings to technical and nontechnical audiences

$119,829
**Pay Range Maximum:**
$209,726
**Additional Compensation:**
All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
