**About the Role:** As a Manufacturing Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the training initiatives for our production employees. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Training Development & Facilitation:** Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and deliver training curriculum that meets the needs of our employees. Facilitate training classes, ensuring a smooth setup and effective communication.
+ **Training Tracking & Reporting:** Maintain and update the training tracking system, ensuring all records are accurate and secure. Generate reports as needed to provide insights into training progress.
+ **Relationship Building:** Cultivate strong relationships across the plant to understand training needs and opportunities. Attend meetings to deliver updates and gather feedback.
+ **New Hire Management:** Oversee the training schedules and performance of new hires, addressing any issues that arise to ensure their success.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Regularly update training materials to align with site needs and best practices. Observe working conditions to identify safety and quality issues.
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resource management, or a related field (preferred).
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ **Skills:** Strong facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to actively listen, problem-solve, and work independently.
+ **Flexibility:** Must be adaptable to support various shifts in our 24/5 operation.
+ **Travel Requirements:** Occasional travel to other sites (less than 10%).

**Job Description**
Due to the continued success and expansion of our US business, we are interested in speaking with a **Commissioning Manager** with an **Electrical** bias to support a major manufacturing project.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Full time M-F on project site working in a fast-paced environment for a confidential client in the tech industry.
+ Lead electrical system commissioning for our prestigious manufacturing project.
+ Develop and execute a detailed commissioning plan tailored to the project's electrical systems.
+ Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
+ Conduct comprehensive inspections and functional testing of electrical equipment.
+ Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions for the project.
+ Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, adhering to industry standards.
+ Provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to codes and regulations.
+ Foster strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
+ SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
**Qualifications**
+ Background in commissioning and electrical preferred.
+ 8+ years experience in the construction industry.
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required; PMI certification preferred.
+ Extensive experience in commissioning electrical systems for manufacturing projects.
+ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution and low-voltage systems.
+ Proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
+ Strong organizational and time management abilities.

**Program Summary:**

Our 18-month development program provides participants a full-time operational role, designed to improve their manufacturing skills and exposure to Saint-Gobain North America. Participants will be located at one singular manufacturing plant for 18 months and will be involved with quarterly travel to other Saint-Gobain manufacturing sites in North America. The time split between local site projects and EOM program activities is 80:20 respectively. Classroom-based E-learnings, hands-on-action-based learning in operational environments as well as a plethora of networking opportunities, are just some of the activities in place designed to accelerate your career development and future career growth. These trainings and quarterly travel opportunities are a requirement for program completion and full participation should be given, except for extenuating circumstances. While start dates for EOM program participants may vary, program activities kickoff each year in July and end 18 months later in December of the following year. Upon program completion, EOM Engineers will work with our dedicated Human Resources team to find an operational role in one of our nearly 160 sites throughout North America. While a final placement role is not guaranteed, most EOM Engineer graduates are able to choose from multiple Saint-Gobain sites for final placement offers.
