OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Manufacturing Machinist, you will setup and operate multiple pieces of equipment such as turning centers, machining centers, and various other pieces of manual equipment. The successful candidate must understand machine operation and capabilities of each of those machines. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Performing accurate inspections on product
o Running multiple pieces of equipment at the same time
o Providing assistance to other employees when needed
o Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

+ Evaluate, analyze, and define processes, methods, hardware, and designs to improve the quality and profitability of BAHX.

+ Work with raw material suppliers to identify improvement opportunities and address quality issues.

**Your Education Should Be.**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Mechanical, manufacturing, or material science engineering is preferred, but other engineering degrees will be considered.
**_Your Experience Should Be._**
+ Two or more years of manufacturing work experience including co-op and internship experiences.
+ Knowledge of metal working, machining, bending, forming, cleaning, and assembly.
+ Ability to apply scientific and mathematical operations to such tasks as statistical analysis, root cause investigation, developing hypothesis, and evaluating options.

**What you will do:**
+ Responsible for product/process quality for the entire Supply Chain, from supplier to customer, of several Product Lines; drive effective root cause analysis to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances for all elements
+ In-house manufacturing: support the manufacturing assembly and test cells to maximize product quality and reliability.
+ Customers: championing the reduction of customer complaints; reduce customer DPPM and warranty costs, through engagement of engineering, operations, purchasing and customer service.
+ Develop and verify compliance of the ASME & PED Quality Control Program

**What you will do: **
The Manufacturing Systems Co-Op in La Crosse, WI, provides college students with challenging assignments, leadership training and valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders. Through meaningful work projects, our Co-op program offers candidates working toward their Bachelor's or Master's in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree exposure to a variety assignments which could include: Waste elimination projects for manufacturing areas, Standard work creation and updates, Manufacturing process improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing), Industrial engineering studies, Value Stream capability studies, Capital equipment expense requests, Manufacturing Process Automation and systems integration, Data analysis of manufacturing and warehouse operations, Process Risk assessments for Quality, Ergo, and Safety, Energy Audits .
+ **What you will bring:**
+ Working towards a BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree
+ Overall 3.0 GPA or above
+ Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of one example in the last four years such as: school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects)
+ Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly
**Compensation: **
**Base Pay Range:** $24.00 - 27.00 per hour
Relocation: $ 3,500
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
