**Your Role:**
As a Mechanical Assembler you can expect to be our go-to for driving continuous improvement in the operations and assembly process. More specifically, in this role, you:
+ Work under direct supervision.
+ Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
+ Set up and use analytical balance.
+ Perform inert assembly operations.
+ Minor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work.
+ Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.
+ Some minor set-up capability for specific equipment.
+ May have some basic soldering experience.
+ Performs various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
+ Uses visual aids, drawings and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re-work or re-assemble units. Receives detailed instruction on new assignments.
+ Install sub-assemblies.
+ Must display proficient dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices.
+ All work is performed in explosive handling areas.
+ If required, attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements. (i.e. JSTD)
+ OT required for Friday and Saturday as needed.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
**Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Will provide on the job training (OJT)
+ Must have the ability to understand and speak English, as well as read and write in English.

PacSci EMC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our rapidly growing Advanced Manufacturing team. This team is at the forefront of driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence in manufacturing processes to support our mission-critical defense products. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing advanced manufacturing solutions to optimize production, reduce costs, and improve quality. This position requires a hands-on approach to solving complex manufacturing challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring expertise in process design, automation integration, Lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will also involve supporting the setup of new production sites, facility enhancements, and facilitating Kaizen and 3P events.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Process Design & Optimization:**
+ Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
+ Conduct time studies, process flow analysis, and capacity planning to identify improvement opportunities.
+ **Automation & Technology Integration:**
+ Collaborate with Automation Engineers and Software Engineers to design and deploy automation solutions for production lines.
+ Specify, procure, and implement advanced manufacturing equipment, including robotics, vision systems, and other automation technologies.
+ **Continuous Improvement Initiatives:**
+ Lead and participate in Lean manufacturing efforts such as Kaizen events, 3P (Production Preparation Process) workshops, and value stream mapping activities.
+ Apply Six Sigma methodologies to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions to reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ).
+ **New Site and Cell Setup:**
+ Support the setup of new production cells and facilities, including layout design, equipment installation, and production ramp-up.
+ Ensure smooth transitions for production cell moves and new site launches.
+ **Quality Assurance & Compliance:**
+ Collaborate with Quality Engineers to ensure manufacturing processes comply with ISO standards, customer requirements, and defense industry regulations.
+ Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
+ Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturing readiness for new product introductions (NPI).
+ Act as a technical liaison between design engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
+ **Facility and Equipment Upgrades:**
+ Identify and execute facility improvement projects to enhance workplace safety, ergonomics, and efficiency.
+ Manage capital projects related to new equipment acquisition and infrastructure upgrades.
**Qualifications**
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
+ 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the defense, aerospace, or high-tech industries.
+ Experience with automated manufacturing systems and Lean manufacturing principles is highly preferred.
**Technical Skills**
+ Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools.
+ Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and value stream mapping.
+ Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
+ Hands-on experience with automation technologies, robotics, PLC programming, and vision systems.
+ Proficient in ERP systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Qualifications**

We are seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Engineer with a proven track record of implementing best in class test techniques and processes within a complex supply chain. As a member of the Cloud-Scale Machine Learning Acceleration team, you will be the interface between the system engineering team and the ODM and CM partners.
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design infrastructure technologies. You will work closely with an internal inter-disciplinary team, and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and test in manufacturing. A successful candidate will be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will:
* Be responsible for the test validation of future technologies.
* Drive manufacturing process improvements to address reliability issues and concerns.

This team is tasked with designing and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities**
+ **Quality Assurance & Process Control:**

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams during Kaizen and 3P (Production Preparation Process) events to identify and implement quality improvements.
+ **New Product Introduction (NPI):**
+ Work closely with design, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to ensure quality considerations are incorporated into new product designs and processes.
+ Develop and execute First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) plans for new product introductions.
+ **Supplier Quality Management:**
+ Collaborate with the supply chain team to evaluate and qualify suppliers, ensuring that purchased components meet quality requirements.
+ Conduct supplier audits and drive supplier corrective actions as needed.
+ **Documentation & Reporting:**
+ Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, inspection instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

**Qualifications**
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
+ 3-7 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in the defense, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing industries.
+ Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent quality management system standards is required.
**Technical Skills**
