Manufacturing Process Technician

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with an emphasis on manufacturing
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in CAD engineering software and Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of drafting techniques and engineering terminology
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience with drafting and modeling using engineering software
- Familiarity with products related to or manufactured by J.H. Fletcher & Co.
- Strong written communication skills
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Product Management is desirable
- Design and draft new or revised parts using CAD software for purposes of cost reduction, labor reduction or quality improvements.
- Document and implement process and product improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency
- Observe production operations and identify opportunities for cost and time savings
- Work closely with vendors, external shops, and internal departments to ensure revisions are executed properly
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for cost comparisons and reports
- Partner with engineering and purchasing teams to drive improvements
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
