• Lead and manage all aspects of daily production operations, overseeing approximately 60 employees across multiple shifts, including machine shop and general manufacturing areas
• Develop, mentor, and coach a team of 5 direct supervisor reports, fostering leadership skills and accountability to ensure high team performance and engagement
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices to improve operational efficiency, product quality, and reduce costs
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production goals, quality standards, safety compliance, and employee engagement metrics
• Lead continuous improvement projects, collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve operational challenges and enhance workflow

• Follow good manufacturing practices, personal protective equipment requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Perform basic mechanical adjustments like tensioning drive belts, conveyor belts, tracking belts and chains.
• Works safely around moving equipment and conveyors in a wet environment
• Be proficient in the use of standard hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, bearing pullers, etc.
• Perform building mechanical repairs such as overhead door track and panel replacement, concrete work, and chain link repairs.
• Change motors, pulleys, gear boxes and belting.
• Perform simple plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, replace faucets, and toilet repairs.
• Troubleshoot simple mechanical systems such as chain drives and pumps.
• Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on all equipment and building structures (i.e. pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic electrical plumbing)
• Replace slicer, cutter, dicer blade assemblies and perform necessary adjustments.
• Read piping diagrams and identify the function of various components for air and water distribution systems.
• Handle blade housing
• Lock out/Tag out equipment as necessary
• Safely operate shop equipment such as grinders, cut-off saws, power tools, ladders, etc.
• Comply with SQF Regulatory Programs
• Read and complete work orders, paperwork, specification books, schematics and manuals.

1st Shift 10:00am - 6:30pm Under minimal supervision, the QC Inspector II oversees quality projects, ensures compliance with Medline SOPs, and maintains product integrity at the distribution center. Responsibilities include investigating and documenting held finished goods, managing holds and releases, completing rework assignments, inspecting raw materials and finished goods using various methods, recording inspection results, providing product disposition, ensuring inventory control, performing final inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality procedures and company policies.

Major Responsibilities

• Apply and remove holds in the system and Q-Tag.
• Assess and repackage inbound damaged goods.
• Communicate with divisional partners to determine product disposition.
• Maintain communication with branch personnel and divisional partners.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., reach truck, order picker) to manage inventory.
• Assist with item adjustments and other inventory-related tasks.
• Prioritize and perform recall activities, including stock checks, deviations, relabels, product rework, and pedigree verification.
• Coordinate project/rework areas and resources.
• Maintain daily reports of held stock using SAP, Excel, and other systems.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations; communicate with management to address non-conformances.
