We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead programs within the Heavy Systems Manufacturing line of business. This role involves full life cycle management, including development, production, and sustainment of the business segment.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage programs for a particular line of business.
+ Oversee full life cycle management including development, production, and sustainment.
+ Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet project deadlines across supply chain, operations, manufacturing, engineering, and legal departments.
+ Handle multi-million dollar project budgets efficiently.
+ Maintain detailed knowledge of government contracts and their structure.
+ Manage and support a team of 4 direct report Project Managers.
+ Travel to the manufacturing facilities as needed to oversee program responsibilities.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in project and program management.
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
+ Detailed knowledge of government contracts.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Project, and other program management tools.
+ PMP Certification is required.
+ Minimum of 9 years of experience in program management, preferably in a defense contract manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
The role is based in a modern facility located in St. Louis, MO. This is a hybrid role with work-from-home on Mondays and Fridays, and in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Enjoy a schedule that allows every other Friday off.

Position Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced design weight estimation to develop preliminary weight estimates to support advanced design proposals, prototyping efforts, trade studies, etc.
Perform estimation, calculation, and measurement/verification of mass, center of gravity, and inertias of components, assemblies and completed vehicles or systems
