Job Summary
Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking multiple Level II Manufacturing Technicians for our Bridgeton, MO facility. This position will be responsible for building electro-mechanical assemblies per blueprints, schematics, and company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience using basic hand tools such as ratchets, screw drivers and wrenches.
Job Responsibilities

Perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly and rework
-
Provide technical support to engineers and scientist on moderately complex components, devices, material, products, processes and/or equipment
-
Responsible for testing, modifying, reworking, and repairing electronic, optical and mechanical assemblies
-
Design and test prototype assemblies and production units
-
Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications and sketches and running sheets
-
Use judgment in re-working or re-wiring to bring unit within quality control specifications
-
Test, inspect, and repair electronic, optical or mechanical assemblies
-
Work under minimal supervision and may provide guidance to other technicians
-
Capable of performing related manufacturing processes
-
Interpret and follow written documents such as SOPs and safety rules
-
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations and any applicable certification required to maintain the certification

May assist in training new team members

Interface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materials

Quality of finished product (Pass/fail rates)

Qualifications

Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area

At least 2 years of relevant experience

Must demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership skills

Experienced handling small delicate components, using ESD practices

Soldering and wirebonding experience a plus

Must have good mechanical skills
-
Must be experienced in the safe handling of chemicals

Experienced in the use of various computer applications, including Access, Excel, and Labview
-
Experience with MRP a plus
The expected pay scale for this position is $39,933.00/year - $57,104.00 /year for the state of Illinois. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly. When extending an offer of employment, Leonardo DRS considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position; any Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, the candidate's relevant work experience, education/training, certifications, and key skills; internal equity; and market and business considerations.

**What you'll do**
+ Conduct quality inspections during the installation process to ensure work meets plans and specifications
+ Perform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standards

Job Summary:
IMC Outdoor Living, a subsidiary company of Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Line Lead. This role oversees a team of production line workers and conveyor systems, managing daily tasks such as break times, employee training, and ensuring efficient production while working on the line with the employees. They utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges and maintain expertise in the production line's operations. To be successful in this position, you must have a willingness to work alongside the employees on the line. Your entire day will be on the production floor working on the production line.
Available Shifts:
1st Shift - Monday - Thursday 5:30 am - 4:30 pm
2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 3:00 am
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line workers.
- Provide training and guidance to line workers on proper production techniques and safety procedures.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure production schedules are met by monitoring workflow.
- Maintain production efficiency by troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise on the production line in coordination with maintenance.
- Monitor and control production costs while minimizing waste.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production line.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents on the production line.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, labor hours, and material usage.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Willingness to work alongside employees on the production line to direct and lead their work
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all employees in the facility, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of machinery and tools.
- Working knowledge and experience with a CMMS system.
- Ability to solve problems in a timely, professional manner.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and implementation of safety regulations.
- Strong willingness to work hard, reliable, attentive and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for the entirety of the shift.
- Ability to work in a dirty, non-temperature-controlled environment.
Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant production line experience in a manufacturing setting.
- 2-3 years prior experience in leadership in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
