Qualifications

Role Description
We are currently looking for an experienced, manufacturing Quality Assurance Manager to be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the manufacturing warehouse. This position is responsible for leading the team that will ensure that all products meet established quality standards. This role supports the QC team by developing and implementing quality control systems, driving continuous improvement, and working closely with other departments to maintain compliance with regulations and resolve quality-related issues.
The successful candidate will have experience in training others, monitoring the performance of others, and will be comfortable addressing performance issues. Candidates should also be familiar with Keiser processes for determining if each piece of equipment meets the specifications required before sending it to a customer. Candidates will also need to be comfortable with taking corrective action if the need for improvement on a piece is determined before passing off on a completed item.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE and MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5+ years' experience in Quality Control in a durable goods manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of the manufacturing processes
- 2 - 3 years in a managerial position with multiple direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards
- Computer literate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in conducting annual reviews for direct reports
- Above-average reasoning skills and the desire to trace a problem back to its source
- Experience reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Experience with understanding tolerances
- Experience with QC testing equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, and other QC instruments

SCHEDULE
- Day shift, Monday-Friday with start time between 5:00 am and 7:00 am
- Saturday shifts may be required rarely based on business needs

This position is part of our Industrial Division, which serves Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Food & Beverage. Metals & Mining, Utility, Manufacturing and other industrial clients. As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM's mission by:
- Managing multiple large complex engineering projects concurrently within the Chemicals, Petrochemicals, and Downstream Oil and Gas sectors from early concept development through detailed design and construction
- Serving as a mentor and leader of multi-discipline project teams

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelor's Degree. 10 years of related experience. PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list). Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Manager ensures the accuracy and quality of inventory within their respective distribution center and associated facilities, leading to optimized delivery of products and services to the customer. This leader is responsible for implementing best practices that emphasize inventory accuracy, defect prevention and reduction in variation and waste. The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Manager ultimately leads organizational focus on quality assurance and the implementation of best practices and continuous process improvement to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction, ensuring that procedures and processes are properly and consistently followed.
Responsibilities
* Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions and ensures compliance with policies and procedures focused on quality assurance.
* Ensures accuracy of inventory counts and quality, as well as quality of outbound shipments.
* Leads the ICQA team to collaborate with DC management on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.
* Contributes to new business initiatives and projects.
* Manages the root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
* Manages inventory profiles throughout the warehouse.
* Reviews and evaluates quality data to identify process improvement opportunities.

* Ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment, while empowering team members to actively contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
* Collaborates closely with other departments such as sales and purchasing, to coordinate activities and meet customer demands while encouraging cross-functional problem-solving and collaboration.

Qualifications

* 1+ year's proven experience in a managerial role and/or leading teams.

* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
* Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
