What You'll Do :
The Manufacturing Recruiter will be responsible for the full cycle recruiting process by proactively sourcing for talent, guiding the interview process, and working with hiring managers on open roles with an emphasis on manufacturing-focused positions. The Manufacturing Recruiter will be a brand ambassador, ensuring that all candidates receive a world-class experience while demonstrating Whisker values at each hiring process step.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Works closely with hiring managers for each open position:
- Completes an intake session to understand the department's need for the role and the responsibilities of the position
- Understands the makeup of the hiring department and team culture
- Recruits candidates from multiple sources, including but not limited to Whisker's careers site, LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, and career fairs.
- Uses recruiting software to build a pipeline of talent proactively
- Completes video/phone screens with qualified candidates promptly
- Recruits for labor, hourly, assembly positions, including phone screens, onsite interviews, and tours, and supports onboarding
- Conducts tours at WhiskerPark or other regional Whisker locations
- Understands each aspect of the manufacturing process to conduct thorough interviews and answer candidate questions
- Owns the assessment of all resumes submitted for specific hiring roles and ensures that we are recruiting Top Talent
- Manages all calendars to schedule virtual and onsite interviews, delivering all resumes and phone screen notes to hiring leaders to review for steps moving forward
- Delivers offers and negotiates details with candidates
- Drafts new hire paperwork, conducts background checks, and participates in all aspects of onboarding while working with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure our candidates have a fantastic hiring experience
- Anticipates staffing levels and proactively finds the right talent for the right time
- Identifies and manages vendor relationships with Recruiting Agencies
- Identifies and uses creative sourcing techniques when necessary for locating suitable candidates and networking at various types of events to attract passive candidates
- Company representative/liaison at local and regional Universities, schools, and career fairs
- Supports recruiting through the use of campus relations and other partnerships when necessary
- Reviews and evaluates recruitment activities and initiatives to develop enhanced strategies and tactics that will increase the rate and number of successful hires
- Partners closely with hiring leaders and provides consistent and speedy updates on open roles, showing a high sense of urgency
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the brand to ensure each candidate is a culture fit and a technical fit for the positions being hired for
- Trains and educates supervisors by developing training materials, hiring guides, and best practices
- Additional Human Resources duties and responsibilities are performed as assigned when necessary.
What You'll Bring :
- BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent years of experience
- 4+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience
- Recruiting background in Manufacturing
- Understanding of sourcing methods and strategies
- Very comfortable discerning information received from candidate interviews and making a confident decision in your hiring process
- Experience with ATS software, candidate assessments, behavioral, and skill-based interviews
- Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality

The Manufacturing Coordinator position is responsible for supporting daily production operations. This position is responsible for issuing and tracking production orders, coordinating material and resource needs, maintaining accurate documentation, and facilitating communication between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery of products. This role assists the Production Leadership team and coordinates activities as part of a centralized and consistent approach to incorporate quality into the Manufacturing Department. The result of the position is to assure that all Production activities are carried out in compliance with applicable government regulations and guidelines as well as with company policies and procedures
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Issue, track, and close production work orders in the ERP system needed to adhere to the Production plan.
• Create rework orders needed for continuation of production
• Print In-house product labels and supplemental labels.
• Create and maintain Kanban system for the ordering of supplies and maintaining inventory for manufacturing consumables.
• Initiate and facilitate standard operating procedure (SOP) changes.
• Perform NCMR, Deviation, Action Item, etc. activities within MasterControl.
• Author and assist in non-conformance investigations, deviations, CAPA, etc.
• Coordinate with production supervisors, quality, and supply chain to ensure materials, tooling, and resources are available for scheduled jobs.
• Create, track, and maintain department metrics.
• Monitor daily production schedules and assist in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Participate in daily production meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Comply with cGMP, ISO 13485, and company safety guidelines.
• Ability to work scheduled or expanded shifts, holidays and/or off-shift duties, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate degree in business, operations, technical or a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably medical devices.
• 2+ years SAP experience or other ERP system.

• Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 quality standards.

**What you'll do.**
In this key role, you will provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program - from initial concept through final assembly. This will involve the application of lean manufacturing principles to ensure the highest quality, most efficient processes and products possible. You will:
+ Provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program, beginning at initial concept through launch at the final assembly facility.
+ Development of tooling and facilities based on product and process.
+ Apply lean manufacturing principles.
+ Lead virtual manufacturing assembly builds.
+ Drive resolution of manufacturing issues.
+ Interface with Design and Release activities.

+ Willingness to travel and support launch activities at our North American Assembly plants (USA, Canada & Mexico)
+ Travel is required including co-location at a North American Assembly plant for 9 or more months depending on scale of vehicle launch.
+ 1 or more years of Microsoft Office experience to include Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Up to 40-50% travel required

+ Assist in activities associated with new product launches (i.e. APQP in Automotive Industry) from providing quotes through the successful completion of quality records (such as PPAP) and product launch.
+ Drive timeline and resolution of issues with cross-functional teams.
+ Interface with the sales, engineering, accounting, and vendors to gather or clarify information.
+ Collaborate with manufacturing organization to develop manufacturing prints and establish controls and operational limits for operators.
+ Create 2D and/or 3D models for heading and rolling tools used in manufacturing of metal fasteners.
+ Create process routing and bills of material for newly awarded business.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
+ Minimum 3-4 years' experience in the manufacturing industry; product and/or tooling development for metal manufacturing (fastener) experience required.
+ Experience in automotive industry is highly beneficial.
+ Working knowledge of APQP or equivalent gated product development processes.
+ Working knowledge of lean manufacturing.
+ Some experience with front office support to customer service, manufacturing or engineering.
+ Strong experience with Microsoft Office software products.
+ Strong experience with 2D and 3D CAD software; preferably SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
+ Ability to read technical drawings and specifications & a basic knowledge of metal manufacturing practices.
+ Skilled in document management, organization and prioritization.
+ Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while demonstrating flexibility.
+ Proven ability to deal with changes in a business environment.
+ Aptitude to multi-task while maintaining highest levels of accuracy.
