**How will you make an impact?**
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the organization and coordination of manufacturing activities and the supervision of employees within their assigned department. You will be responsible for meeting safety, quality, production, and financial targets, while also working closely with the department manager to develop and implement strategic and tactical activities. Your proven analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in maintaining excellent performance and driving continuous improvement.
**Work hours: Mon -Thur; 6:30am - 4:30pm**
**What will you do?**
+ Maintain appropriate staffing, interview applicants, and hire qualified candidates.
+ Analyze production performance indicators, establish triggers, and implement sustainable corrective actions to enhance quality, reduce waste, and improve efficiencies.
+ Collaborate proactively with the team, internal customers, and peers to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize operational efficiencies.
+ Cultivate an environment of accountability and data-driven decision-making.
+ Support the manager in leading and promoting process improvement initiatives to achieve strong safety performance, product quality, finance, and process efficiency.
+ Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (Wis), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Quality System guidelines, and safety standards.
+ Take charge of the daily production schedule, addressing any obstacles to timely completion of jobs, and collaborating closely with cross-functional departments to meet business objectives and customer deliveries.
+ Assist and support the department manager in investigating internal incidents, customer complaints, and change controls, and prepare reports while assigning responsibilities for corrective and preventive measures.
+ Analyze nonconformances and observations to facilitate the identification and implementation of corrective actions, while tracking and trending non-conformances, complaints, and internal investigations.
In addition, other duties may be assigned as the business needs warrants.
**Education / Experience**
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related technical field.
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
+ Practical application experience of PPI and Lean Manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies.
**SKILLS and ABILITIES:**

+ Experience working in aseptic and sterile dispensing environments.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills in previous work experiences

MACRO Industries, a leading aerospace and defense composites company, is currently seeking an energetic and highly self-motivated Quality Control Inspector in Lenexa, Kansas that will handle our inspections/testing for our Quality Department. The successful candidate will perform inspections and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate for this position is organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and has previous quality inspection experience, strong math aptitude and computer skills.
RESPONSIBILTIES AND DUTIES
- Perform receiving inspections of inventory items, first-article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections of manufactured products.
- Schedule and perform material lot testing.
- Develop and maintain inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.
- Maintain, log, and tag calibration of quality control equipment.
- Prepare and maintain test data for review.
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly, per our Quality Management System (QMS).
- Collect and organize Certificates of Compliance for all incoming materials.
- Format and organize documentation for Company Quality standards, Procedures, Policies, Work Instructions and Forms.
- Log/document inspection records for Ceramic Tile, Backing, Cut Backing, Spall Thermal & Panel Inspections as well as Final Inspection.
- Perform as back-up for all plant positions as needed.
- Create and maintain data records in SharePoint and Company Databases.
- Process, distribute, and maintain controlled documentation using a document control system.
- Process documents for revision and approval. Monitor distribution and reconciliation of process or reference documents. Train staff on document control processes and procedures.
- Provide support to manufacturing shop as needed to meet delivery schedules.
- Provide support to Engineering for documentation as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills/Abilities
- Strong communication skills.
- Prior experience in quality inspections.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Ability to use calipers and scales for measurement.
- Understands tolerances and deviations.
- Understands various mathematical concepts including fractions, decimals & proportions.

Peterson Manufacturing has an immediate position for a morning and afternoon Assembler. An Assembler produces finished or semi-finished products and readies them for shipment to the customer. The actual assembly work involves the interpretation of the assembly instructions; monitoring and replenishment of component supplies; and both manual and automated assembly operations. Post-assembly work involves visually inspecting and counting products; packing product in approved containers; and labeling packed containers.
ORGANIZATIONAL SUPERVISION, REPORTING AND INTERFACE
This position reports to the Production Department Supervisor and works directly with the other members of the Production team. The Assembler will also interface with other associates within the Peterson Manufacturing organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

What will you do?
+ Follow all written procedures. Report discrepancies in procedures (SOP's, DHR's, etc.) to the Area Supervisor.
+ Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required. Refer to job-specific Safety Analysis.
