**Manufacturing Supervisor:**
· Manages employees of high performance process team(s) so that short and long-term production commitments and process development plans can be met and/or exceeded.
· Responsible for actively managing multiple Fab and Test production lines for optimum throughput while exhibiting and communicating a strong advocacy for safe working practices and quality of product.
· Participates in cross-functional projects communicating and working closely with a peer supervisor group and other representatives from the manufacturing support teams.
· Responsible for team(s) typically consisting of 5-20 persons. Teams work in clean room and ESD environments where various products for wireless devices are fabricated and tested. Training plan for the supervisor may include a rotation of in-Fab/Test hands-on execution of operating processes and procedures.
· Responsible to provide leadership to the team and facilitate the development and implementation of training plans and strategies to meet business commitments. Responsible for performance management and facilitates continuous learning and process improvement.
· Teams work 12 hour Alternative Work Schedules. This is a salaried position that may include working Saturdays and/or Sundays. The supervisor will exhibit flexibility in their work schedule as some training and regular on-going responsibilities may occur or extend outside of the assigned shift hours.
· Management has the discretion to periodically review supervisor roles and assignments as business need dictates and adjust as necessary.
**Current opening is for a night shift schedule working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and alternating Wednesdays.**
**Minimum Education/Requirements:**
· Minimum of 8 years of overall experience, including 1-2 years in a team lead or people management role. This leadership position requires solid communication, basic project management, and people management skills
· Associate's degree or equivalent related work experience preferred.

Facilities Manufacturing Technician Description

Join our dynamic team as a Facilities Manufacturing Technician in the Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD) at Broadcom in Fort Collins, Colorado. Utilize in-depth knowledge and multi-disciplinary skills to provide critical maintenance to various services supporting cleanroom operation. Collaborate with diverse support teams to elevate system safety, quality, reliability, and performance. Support areas include: High-Purity Gas Delivery, Ultra-Pure Water Production, Waste Treatment, Solvent Recycle, Bulk Chemical Delivery, Specialty Waste Collection and Hazardous Gas Monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to an AWS 12 hour shift team working with remaining 24x7 technician teams to ensure smooth cleanroom operation.

  • Help create and adhere to safety protocols while working in potentially hazardous situations.

  • Support emergency response teams (HazMat) through active membership Execute maintenance and operation of regulatory and environmental compliance waste treatment systems.

  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks on facilities equipment as planned. Develop and execute advanced troubleshooting for unplanned equipment downtime.

  • Work directly with engineering team to ensure system quality expectations are met.

  • Demonstrated interest in continuous learning and developing skills.

  • Ability to work around hazardous chemicals while using personal protective equipment including air-purifying respirators.

  • Demonstrated communication skills, aptitude to work cohesively in teams, and lead projects when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 2 year degree or equivalent military or other relevant experience

  • 6+ years experience as maintenance technician

  • Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems

  • Basic knowledge of process controls

  • Experience with hazardous materials handling and associated safety procedures

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, work at heights and stand/walk for long periods

  • Ability to work around hazardous chemicals while using personal protective equipment including air-purifying respirators.

The salary range for this position is $24.50 - $34.65 per hour.

The Microchip Frequency and Timing Systems business unit is a world leader in precise time solutions and sets the world's standard for time. Our work distributes and applies precise time for the communications, aerospace/defense, IT infrastructure, and metrology industries.

Frequency and Timing Systems is expanding with new contracts in the areas of digital signal processing, satellite communications, airborne timing, and navigation systems. We have an opening for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team of qualified diverse individuals.

Responsibilities
  • Performs non-routine and complex Electrical & Mechanical Assembly tasks
  • Read and work from assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, parts list
  • Performing rework and repairs of materials to IPC standards
  • Populate PCBAs, both through-hole and surface mount (under a microscope)
  • Perform work and assembly processes that meet or exceed IPC standards
  • Perform tasks in a timely manner which meets or exceeds time standards
  • Perform construction and in-process inspection on box builds, PCBAs, and cables
  • Work to production schedules and timelines
  • Successfully pass IPC-610 certification training within 3 months
  • Perform duties in a safe, non-hazardous manner in compliance with safety standards
  • Maintaining a clean working area
  • May perform non-established, non-routine testing or troubleshooting of components, devices, modules or products
  • Successfully pass J-STD-001 certification training within 6 months
  • Perform rework and repairs of materials including multilevel boards to IPC standards
  • Identify and recommend disposition of defective components
  • May assist in the training of less experienced technicians
  • May rework products to meet customer specs
  • May inspect incoming material, including custom sheet metal, PCBAs and cables
